What’s on Elon Musk’s mind? In this exclusive conversation with head of TED Chris Anderson, Musk details how the radical new innovations he’s working on — Tesla’s intelligent humanoid robot Optimus, SpaceX’s otherworldly Starship and Neuralink’s brain-machine interfaces, among others — could help maximize the lifespan of humanity and create a world where goods and services are abundant and accessible for all. It’s a compelling vision of a future worth getting excited about. (Recorded at the Tesla Texas Gigafactory on April 6, 2022)

Just over a week after this interview was filmed, Elon Musk joined TED2022 for another (live) conversation, where he discussed his bid to purchase Twitter, the biggest regret of his career, how his brain works and more. Watch that conversation here:

TED talks used to mean something. Nowadays they are mostly empty.
Elon’s face reflects the same sentiment.
If you allocate an hour of his time, make sure you are prepared and post relevant questions that haven’t been heard before.

@Revived Saiyan “they’re won’t be demons…”. Well, if you have any, and you go there, there will be. Not joking. We all need deliverance from the demonic realm. Jesus paid the price for you and I to be free. Now you just need someone with the faith in Christ and his finished works to deliver you, assuming you don’t want to keep your demons that is.

I wish that Musk teams up with like minded billionaires and companies to help the world, where currently we’re plagued by corrupt politicians and red tape, as well as sheer incompetence. I’m not talking about charity and pledging money. I’m talking about sitting down and really thinking about what they can do to make the world a better place, and act on it.

The WW2 people said this is what we did and when it runs out they will come up with something new. If you can imagine or conceive it then you can build it. We knew how to plan it all out on the drawing board so building it was pretty easy because the math was already figured out. Builder only needed a 10th grade level education. Good luck dealing with the people who can only function at a fifth grade level. They call them: GOV workers. My job was to go between the designer and the builder. There were fights and misunderstanding over what the original design was all about. Now my son works for gates pfizer to translate machine language into something the FDA can understand. He calls it PI planning.

high function savant. Artificial intelligence has to function the way our unconscious mind does. They need real time universal conscious so cars do not bump into each other. Everything in the universe (cosmos) connects in real time. If you want to hit or catch a baseball the math is very complicated – precise and the mind has to function very fast.

I think he is totally wrong about how humanity issues must be solved. climate change or depopulation cannot be completely solved by moving to another planet or creating safer cars and roads. Every year around 1 million people die from car crashes , but wars can lead to much higher death tolls, probably millions can die in only one day. This shows that human’s cruelty can have much worse outcome compared to the inaccuracy of the tools they use and carelessness, cars they drive and etc.. How could humans survive in another planet if they are going to behave in the same way they do on earth? in few centuries that planet is also going to become like earth suffering from climate issues and such. I respect him for what he’s done so far, but the things he is doing are not guaranteeing humans’ survival, they are just buying us more time to live a little bit more.

What a bullshit, there is no enough resources on earth to replace fossils, taking into account how many people on earth. Yes, if they depopulate the earth by 90%, it will be enough resources then. So he is basically saying we will get rid of 90% of the earth population and who ever left will be leaving in the sustainable future.

How about green power generators and free energy and radio wave frequencies? There are many inventions out there that are eco-friendly and do not cause pollution to the earth, there are cars that can run off water, and cars and houses that can run off free energy generators. like the invention of Maxwell Chikumbutso, Who has just been recently poisoned for trying to share his inventions to help the world, not himself. His electric cars do not need to be charged up nor need gas. But of course, these are inventions that do not continually fill the profits of the greedy. They´d rather continue t pollute the earth and cause brain damage from all the radiation exposure those Ai Robocars will cause. This technology comes with a very high risk, these cars at the end if the day are Robotic Ai Autos, which I call Ai Robocars. Is this really a future to get excited about??? No!!! I think most of humanity would get excited about free green energy cars and free energy ways of supplying electricity and water systems for our future houses, I think we would get more excited about using technology to our advantage instead of technology running our lives and controlling our every move and thought, When we realize our own power and use our own inventions that have been blocked by the greedy 1% profiteers, that´s when we will truly get excited. When we all can benefit from the growth of humanity and not just be exploited for their profits and control over humanity. That may be their Big dream of a better world, but it´s not humanity’s dream..This is why they want to merge us to become their slave humanoids…God Help us get to wake up before it´s too late…

This is what makes Elon Musk so special to me: the courage to – somehow – maintain a genuinely level head (while all around us are losing theirs). He considers all the trouble we’ve managed to create for ourselves (as all children do) as inflections of learning and opportunity, not terminal signs of inevitable doom.
That’s why I like, admire and trust him so much. Regardless of the “strengths and weaknesses” metric, (which is actually pretty irrelevant) to me, the vastly more important point is that he’s just good.

50 years ago today, we had set foot on the Moon for the second to last time in history, yet we felt the world was going to end at any moment. Smallpox and Polio still ravaged the world, many countries still lived under the thumb of regimes, world hunger and no running water was an even larger problem, nukes were nearly 10x as common as they are now. The world is filled with problems that will not exist in the future, if we continue to care about getting rid of them. Fear and complacancy have one thing in common: They involve giving up. Giving up when you can do something always leads to backtracking

Electric vehicles for all – will never be a reality unless the price is brought down to the equivalent to 5k USD’s per unit. Also, reliability in super cold weather is low. The electricity required to charge electric cars in the millions would mean coal and other fossil fuels would have to be used to generate power. Sure, the future is bright if you are a billionaire like Musk! Not so much for the other 9/10’s of the population struggling with crippling USD federal reserve note inflation.

Give Elon a break! Sheesh! He’s not God, and he knows he’s not God. He is *a* creator, not *THE* Creator!

From my seat in the bleachers, watching him nurture ideas into practical realities is fun. In a way, it’s like raising children. One never knows what the child will do next, but careful and attentive parenting will lessen the guesswork because good parents carefully sculpt their children, according to their gifts, to achieve the goal of a happy, productive, and (please God🙏🏻) healthy human being.

Are there bumps on the road to this goal? Of course! There are bumps on the road of every journey. Perhaps the best thing we observers can do is *encourage* Elon and team, instead of criticizing them.

I’m sixty-six and quite severely disabled, so it isn’t likely (unless my new book series sells a few million copies in the fall) that I’ll be able to afford a Tesla EV. (I can’t even afford a house!) I’m pleased, however, that my children and grandchildren may have a better shot at a healthier future.

    Love and All Good Things,

Sorry but the only thing we need to do to sequester carbon is replant all the forests we cut down and plant more. Self-sustaining carbon sequestration with little to no maintenance after installation. Very low-cost solution with a myriad of other benefits. Forget making machines to sequester carbon—what a laughable idea when large plants do it for free.

Forests also turn seawater into useable water, through rainwater preservation in the form of groundwater and reduction in evaporation, filling rivers, lakes and aquifers. We. Dont. Need. Machines. To. Do. This.

The idea cannot work if the poor are doing all of the funding, if either through taxation (Which the rich are excluded from) or inflation (Which the rich are excluded from since they own most of the inflating assets). The plan is to clamp down on all financial freedom for the people. Cryptofeudalism.

Almoat anyone can work and save $100,000.00… Musk’s does not address the worker’s reality in a cpitalistic economy of scarcity. Musk abandons responsibility to Life. Musk panders a pernicious fantasy to sidestep his responsibility to humanity, and to Nature, on planet earth. Musk panders Anthropomorphic insanity. Musk leads his followers into oblivion. … you all be well.

Musk is amomng the class of wealth. And he claims not be be a materialist, per se. … whatever. To solve global warming without solving the problem of an economically stratefied society will not work. The nature of the universe is known to the Indiginious civilization. I recommend the book that just came out this April, Resoring the Kinship Worldview… by Four Arrows and Darcia Narvarez, PH D. I have the imperssion that Musk is Barking up the Wrong Tree, so to speak. What he claims to be seeking in right under his nose. So why hasn’t he discovered that

It seems I spoke too soon. Musk alludes to improving the situation of this planet with whatever initiatives he comes up with. However, the core of the problem of global warming is born of an economically stratefied society. And Musk’s query into the nature of the universe is a nature that is known in the Indigenous civilization. I recommend the book that just came out this April, Restoring the Kinship Worldview… by Four Arrows and Darcia Narvarez, Ph D., which contains the means to the kind of civilization we must establish. However, that book does not contain the ideology, the socio ecconomic structures to those ends. I highly recommend the book, Restoring the Kinship Worldview!

Thank you for all your efforts Mr. Musk. I’m a big fan, but I propose an issue, that if solved would prove the ability of renewable energy vs fossil fuels. You have to defeat diesel fuel. Make a Tesla stump grinder.
