I wont put an “electronic pill” in my body, at least until I see multiple trials. Much like I refuse to put many/most pharmaceuticals into my body- though I would work to develop them for people who wish to take them. The pharmaceutical products we have (many of them, I would exclude things like penicillin, etc) are “effective”, however, we dont know how they work, we dont know their side effects to a satisfactory degree, and too many- mostly older drugs- are honestly shots in the dark, created by trial and error and chosen upon landing on a particular result. I understand the lengths scientists and researchers go to in order to develop these drugs (Im a biophysics major) and I know we’ve done the best we can with the current and prior technology and knowledge we’ve had, but I remain skeptical and uneasy with many modern pharmaceuticals.
This is a very interesting idea. It certainly sounds much more promising than using drugs to try to modulate these things.

Honestly…I think its a much better thing to focus on getting more people to stop doing/using/ingesting all the things we do in modern life that are CAUSING most of our modern diseases. Focusing on the cause is much healthier for us. We cant change some things already ingrained in our society, but we CAN change what is legally allowed to go into our foods. One of the biggest problems causing so many diseases today is our FOOD SUPPLY. Supermarket foods are almost exclusively garbage. I didnt realize to what extent until a few years ago. It should be illegal, the crap they put in 90% of our foods.

I wonder how much of it will be confiscated from the US government to create more effective soilders, signal no fear, disable pain receptors etc.
The technology its self is an incredible invention, but like every great invention that is designed for good will always be abused by man. I do hope however that this type of technology will be available globally for an affordable price.
