12 to 18 months is the timeline we keep hearing about for a potential Covid-19 vaccine. While this is possible, it would also be the fastest we’ve ever developed a vaccine. Dr. Seema Yasmin takes a look at the standard timeline for creating a vaccine, from the exploratory stage all the way until manufacturing and quality control. Just how does a Covid-19 vaccine fit into this timeline?

We do not need a vaccine for Covid19. The vast majority of the population will have reached natural herd immunity by then! New strains may cause a problem, but immunity to the original strain may mean fewer symptoms if you become sick later on. This is all mass media hype! Realistically vaccinations take years to develop, and must go through double blind trials in order to ascertain it’s efficacy! Let’s just open the economy back up and move on!

Covid-19 isn’t the ONLY Coronavirus, it’s part of a class of viruses so called “coronavirus” and we’ve never successfully made a vaccine for any type of coronavirus in medical history. So to answer the question, when is the vaccine going to come—-It isn’t.

A vaccine or a cure or a couple years. Why do people think vaccines are the only way through this? There have been many epidemics in the past and none of them needed a vaccine to end it. I’m not anti vaccine- just want people realize it’s not the only way. .

Puhlease. Where’s the sars vaccine ? Swine flu ? You take the poison. Not me.

    There is no pandemic
This is a virus less deadly than the flu w fake prediction models recommended treatments that are killing people, unreliable and contaminated test kits, ridiculously inflated death counts and media induced hysteria to push an agenda where the end goal is to enslave humanity w forced vaccines microchips and police state surveillance. There is no pandemic. This is agenda 21 being played out in real life.

I’m a Project Manager by trade and based on what Seema said even four years is too optimistic.
My reasoning for this is that things NEVER GO SMOOTHLY AND AS PLANNED.
Normally out of all phases of a project there must be at least one highly problematic/risky phase (in this case probably manufacturing).
This phases faces too many unforeseen issues which cause delay after delay and sends the original plan and schedule down a rabbit hole of endless unpleasant surprises.
This means delays become the norm not the exception.
In addition my experience with fast-track/expedited projects show that they are too much trouble for what it’s all worth because:-
    A) There might be skipping of critical steps.
    B) Too much pressures on the project team(s).
    C) Brings about an anomalous and untried process to get things done versus the normal way.
    D) Involves taking too many risks.
    The Results typically are:-
    1) More delays due to silly mistakes made along the way and interventions to fix them.
    2) Sub-par quality product (in this case a vaccine that could result in major loss of lives).
    3) Wasted resources (that could be placed elsewhere on better intiatives) if things go pear shaped.

This means these fast-tracks are little more than PR by top officials to calm the general public and feel good with themselves that they did their best to meet the overwhelming demand for action.

Expect lots of resignations on all levels by the end of the 16 months and sever disamay by all.

I therefore am with a minimum of 4 years, and as a result we need to treat our current situation as the new normal and adapt with life-style changes, hygiene solutions, communication solutions and economic adjustments to cope with this as how life will be after 2020…

Many of these fortunatley exist and for the rest we need to expand our horizons to face the rising challenge.

This would be the vaccine based on the first wave of the pandemic. Then in September or October, when a probable 2nd wave of a mutated corona v appears, the original vaccine will become obsolete ! During this time and earlier, pockets of the population wil have developed antibiotics or natural immunity.

Don’t just dismiss human challenge trials for Covid-19 because they didn’t do it for zika. At least 16,000 have volunteered for it. Sure it’s somewhat risky but the world is in big trouble. How about all the men and women who joined the armed services after Pearl Harbor in 1941 and for the rest of the war? They were throwing themselves into hellish peril much worse than a possible brief illness with a tiny chance of death or lasting health problems.

A vaccine may be the appropriate choice for you. It won’t be for me whilst I’m young and healthy.

The reservations expressed by the pro vaccine people at the WHO Vaccine Safety Summit on the subject of vaccine safety should be widely known and discussed. Sadly they are not.

    • robert mccullough

      May 26, 2020 at 1:45 pm

This is a cherry picked Del Bigtree Highwire antivax production. WHO asks about vax safety because it is their job. The comments referenced are mostly about reactogenicity–injecting adjuvants into a patient hurts but is necessary to achieve the quantity of titers of antigens. Vaccines are NOT perfect that is the nirvana fallacy to argument otherwise. Vaccinology like all science will replace better science when it becomes available. We are seeing this as I write this in 2020.

Not to mention, a coronavirus vaccine isn’t a new idea. Scientists have already been working on one for decades with serious challenges that have yet to be resolved. The biggest problem isn’t only efficacy but rather it’s safety. Leaving researchers warning further development should proceed very “cautiously”. So now, we are just going to rush one through and mandate it. Real smart.

I not sure what people in comments are thinking but mumps vaccine first became available in 1967, fol- lowed by the rubella vaccine in 1969. These three vaccines were combined in 1971 to form the measles- mumps-rubella (MMR) vaccine we are now talking in 2020 we have a lot of new tecnology and upon these facts I would say we can get some amazing results by the end of 2020. Don’t loss hope, take the best precations you can take; these are not normal circumstances.

Whatever one argues the harsh reality is that medication hasn’t progressed like other industries. 6+ months & still nothing concrete has come out against this virus how it affects human body, efficacy of face masks, mode of transmission. Even WHO is more concerned about politics(china bias is evident). So much for scientific advancement in medicine and yet not even a therapeutic drug has come out. Even if a drug/vaccine is 50% efficient then it should be used to immunize population under 40 yrs as something is better than nothing, what more damage could it do as people as still dying w/o being diagnosed, such is the extent of this pandemic which the WHO wa hesitant to declare so for more than 4 months

Shove the vaccine up your ****

It doesnt justify locking up 65 million people over 45,000 deaths. This bs covid19 is planned by pir government to take away human rights as they have by creating many legislations to restrict human movements. Stage 1 stage 2 stage 3 all bull ****.. wake up as we are been taken for a ride

This pseudo ‘Doctor’ is promoting falsity.

Lookup the Deagal plan to kill millions by 2025. 5G is a weapon system, and at 60ghz, it can stop oxygen absorption by the body. Vaccines are dangerous; lookup section 13 vaccine insert.

Do NOT under ANY circumstances take the coronavirus vaccine! I do not care if the powers that shouldn’t be make it “mandatory”… there is a higher LAW above their human laws. If people around the world refuse to go along with their demonic vaccinations, we will prevail and they won’t be able to go through with their genocidal, dysgenic global plans.
