Why don’t companies stop playing around and make 4K at 120 fps? Everybody should be making 4K 120fps!

    Does Mini 2 support VR?

Oh Goshh..!! A complete sensible needed review at the moment. I was waiting for this Mavic Mini 2, Thanks to this superb review which made me to feel more comfortable and confident about the purchase..!!
The only one thing I want a reply is, I’m from India and a lot of blogs says that ranges are affected due to FCC and CE version of DJI drones. Does Mavic Mini 2 also has such problem ? Like Buying it from US and flying it in India has any restrictions ?

Also please suggest is that good to buy a drone from US and get it from my friend who travels to India soon ? Any confiscation happens at airports due to import taxes ?
(We are doing it for the first time, so worried about carrying a drone in flight which may get confiscated or leads to pay fine)

Your answers will definitely help me, Thanks in advance Buddy..!!

I’m curious about those takes over water, cos the Mavic Pro seemed to have an issue when hovering over water where it would slowly lower itself, if you don’t manually keep it in place.

So the beta testing of Mavic Mini is finally complete? I feel like DJI just trolled us with the Mini 1

Did it use the same mini cables that come with the mavic mini fly more combo?

  16. MANGOES _ARE_LIGMA

    November 5, 2020 at 12:45 pm

    Hmmm…

I’ll think about as the years passes.

Overall regardless of no raw feature, my mavic mini 1 is still good enough compared to the 2. Just few new features that only that’s a big improve is the ocusync but honestly for me the mavic mini 1 still satisfy me after months of use idk it’s been a year tho…

    Overall my preference honestly.

If you fly in a subdivision, what kind of range can you get with the MM1? I was curious if all of the cell/wifi signals drastically limit the range.

    • MANGOES _ARE_LIGMA

      November 5, 2020 at 3:13 pm

@JoeBoone82 i usually fly on places that aren’t really interrupted alot by signals so i can’t tell that.

As I said it does well for my case.

NICE….Im assuming because its equipped with OcuSync 2.0 that this will work for the DJI Smart Controller as well!!! 🙂

It looks like MM1 prices should drop drastically… why pay $400 for MM1 when you get the M2 for $450.

“Maybe not enough to upgrade from the old one” 4k and a larger distance from controller is plenty enough for me.
“New DJI Mini 2 with the new Sony A7siii camera attached at the bottom raises the weight of your drone but f it you got the A7siii for less than 500 bucks.”

One important thing he forgot to mention about the drone, since it’s only 249 grams of weight, you don’t have to register the drone so you have more freedom on where to fly, but other than that I would say is a decent upgrade but I do like how they upgraded the controller because now you can use whatever phone case you want on the phone.

I’ve been waiting for this drone and for an update to the Weebill S for my traveling documentaries. What a remarkable device! So, just a gentle reminder, that the previous mini 1 shot in 2.7K that saved your hard drive space. Many, many, many of you will realize that 4k videos are massive drains even when trying to put together a 15 minute video. That forces us to think through and buy external hard drive systems that may not be fully stable and safe-again requiring a purchase of data retrieval warranties. I look forward to reviewers shooting comparison videos between this drone in 4 k and the previous mini 1.

I’ve been eyeing the $389 mavic mini at Costco which comes with a charging display case and an extra battery plus Costco’s service. But I’m torn between that and a mini 2 because the occusync range seems worth the upgrade. I’ve also seen $200 mavic minis on Craigslist and stuff that I’m very tempted to get.

I find it surprising that dji didn’t add panorama in the original mini when it was released. Also that dji added the same controller as the air 2. Dji cut everything from the original mini’s controller, not even a sport mode switch 🙁

I’d like to see Mini 2 paired with the Smart Controller. It may be overkill but the convenience and deploy speed means you get the photo that you want. .
