CNET’s Bridget Carey tests Disney’s new voice assistant and learns how it will work at home alongside Amazon Alexa on Echo devices. ‘Hey Disney’ will be coming later this year to let characters chime in on weather, alarms, trivia — and it includes a number of new “soundscapes” to put you in a Disney vibe. Disney is the first company to make its own voice assistant to co-exist with Alexa.

    They Should have gotta Corey Burton to do the voice, his voice is the Disney parks voice and he did a lot of the Disney home video narration in the 90s.

    Why isn’t it Mickey or Minnie ? I’d love to say hey Mickey tell me what is Minnie thinking about the weather today and they’d read the weather between themselves in a very funny lengthy way that would get childred intersted in well … the weather.

    My Wife and I both grew up in Maitland and went to Disney World when we were young. It’s a shame Disney is no longer Family oriented. We more or less boycott Disney movies, parks, and TV. Personally, I hope they go bankrupt.
