They do not need to retaliate already Apple drop in sales in China so badly. 1/5 of apple phones was sold in china. Now it’s getting slower and slower the sales. So they don’t need the a boycott or restrictions. Many jobs available in Apple china now. Because many staff start to move to other companies. Many leaders of Apple china left the company In the past 4-5 months

I was a strong and staunch supporter of apple and I had used 6 sets of Iphone but not anymore. My next phone will definitely be a Huawei. From the feedback and comments that I read, people all over the world and not only in China respond positively towards Huawei from Africa, Asia, South East Asia, India, Middle East, Europe and also the overseas Chinese. Most have the opinion that in terms of price, it is a lot cheaper and technological far advanced than apple with more features. Moreover, Huawei has a new OS operating system known as “HongMeng” to replace android and google.

If apple is selling less iphones in china that is because of the poor improvements made to iphone and ridiculous pricing. Not the trade war

China Gov no need to impose tax on apple or ban apple products. Chinese will know what to do

if China kick out apple, those 3 millions workers who btw work for foxconn not apple, can start making products for huawei, and other Chinese or non American phone vendors. Apple on the other hand will have to find other places to produce its phone, it won’t be easy, it won’t be fast, and it certainly won’t be cheap. By the time Apple manage to do that, the world is probably already forget about Apple. More importantly, Apple hasn’t been innovative lately, even without trade war, Apple isn’t a good value for its expensive price, and it is reflected with the slow down in sales and apple “pivot to software business”

Even though HUAWEI is going to lost the market share in Europe, Apple will not get the big share of that market. Samsung or other brands will get more benifit than Apple. Also, if Chinese people boycott Apple, Apple lost their market share in China. Subsequently, Apple is not going to survive in Chinese market, just like what happened for Samsung in China. After that, Chinese factory will stop making Apple phones. Eventually, Apple will dead. This could happen in one or two years, if the trade war is continued.

All China needs to do is stop All Chinese to own a iPhone due to national security. Also they with iPhone can’t access to Weibo, Baidu, Weichat etc… Now the winner is Samsung. The Samsung share of market is a sure win.
