You mean the fraud virus we have and no there is no law on wearing masks and no one can fine you any amount of money for not wearing a mask and masks don’t work and no it’s more than a 90 percent chance at all so no 2020/2021/2022 is just political power trip from Sacramento and Washington DC

Seriously, 8K? There is barely any 4K content on cable and streaming to justify all of the 4K-televisions sold over the last three years.

    • theylied1776

      January 9, 2021 at 5:09 pm

@Wout Vandenwijngaert like I replied to the other commenter. That is probably the same logic they try to use for 3D television. They don’t make 3D televisions anymore.

      January 9, 2021 at 5:42 pm

Dude you are lying to the people!! Plenty of 4k out there..Amazon Video, Netflix, youtube, Disney and Disney+, Hulu, Vemeo and more

    • theylied1776

      January 9, 2021 at 6:07 pm

@Michael K There is some 4K content, but not a lot. Well over 80% of the HD content available on cable and streaming is 1080p.

    • Alex Hein

      January 9, 2021 at 6:47 pm

To have 8k and 4k you need to use a 4k and 8k camera

  12. Scott Powers

    January 9, 2021 at 2:39 pm

this seems kinda pointless if you’re just gonna see 3d models, videos and pictures of these new devices. monitors especially as you can’t see how much better they are when viewed on your current monitor.

    • Michael b

      January 9, 2021 at 3:22 pm

Exactly…CES is definitely an in-person type thing

    • Adam Miller

      January 9, 2021 at 11:02 pm

@J4ckCr0w do you think for yourself or just let the white coats and silicon valley figure it all out for you?

@TheThoman Man You depend solely on your own perception?

All water should pass trough uv lamp and 8 staged filters. Until you taste it and know what its about you should not speak about it.

I’m happy that this year CES is online since I never get a chance to see it in-person, now they have VR and I have a headset so I see this as a win

  24. Robert Lee

I bet Las Vegas is loosing so much money NOT having CES live on premises. This sucks. Rather have the big shows. Blame on the leaders that didn’t do anything to fight this virus. Stay HEALTHY.

capitol riot means a covid19 petri dish; we need another lockdown.
we have streaming and don’t need to travel or go to a commercial theater and avoid
covid19, mass shooting (gun sales doubled in 2020), police killing nonwhites like George
Floyd, and exploding RVs like in
Nashville, capitol rioters bringing pipe bombs

I think the big talk will be mini LED panels. Micro LED panels are still at least a couple of years away from being reasonably priced for large panels.
