So this just proves Apple was upselling on RAM for years because they could, not because they had to lol

  8. @steevthetech

    October 28, 2024 at 4:55 pm

@cnet find someone who’s honestly interested in reporting on Apple. Her negative vibe is too much. I think she belongs reporting on Samsung or TCL products now.

    • @santiaguito99

      October 28, 2024 at 5:06 pm

Bruh, every tech reviewer is roasting apple right now. Rightfully so.

If she actually praised Apple, it would sound absolutely fake, since Apple is under the fire of everyone right now, even their loyalists

    • @Steve-racer

      October 28, 2024 at 8:56 pm

I don’t think she’s bashing Apple, I think she’s calling them out. What Apple charges the update to RAM is a complete rip off. anybody with a little bit of tech sense knows that.

    • @steevthetech

      October 28, 2024 at 9:00 pm

it’s her overall take on Apple… rewatch the video. She’s not only talking about RAM

    • @Steve-racer

      October 28, 2024 at 9:06 pm

@@steevthetech yes she is talking about other things, the color of the front. That’s what you look at while you’re working. She’s talking about the mouse. I would say they probably already have it drawn up to put the USB port in the front of it. My take on it is there basic stuff they could’ve fixed and they just don’t do it.

windows diss? the usb c move is huge. i know 20+ people who have been awaiting the switch to usb c. somebody educate her that charging on the bottom is purposeful, and the mouse has a great battery life… fire her.

    • @effortist

      October 28, 2024 at 8:26 pm

What is the purpose for the charging port on the bottom of the mouse? It would be silly if it was purely for aesthetics.

    • @miodiofoo

      October 28, 2024 at 8:31 pm

@@effortist the purpose of the charger being on the bottom is so that it would
be inconvenient. forcing the user to not use cords to use the mouse. its main and only purpose is to eliminate a cord attached to the mouse, purely for aesthetic. as silly as it may sounds, the battery is good enough to not need a cord. of course tho, batteries die out. nobody forces a user to get a mouse, they actually have the option to get a trackpad.

    • @Max-1906

      October 28, 2024 at 11:51 pm

Are you dumb? Why wouldn’t be people pissed? It’s a faulty design which they haven’t fixed in years while they charge a hefty price for the whole setup. They don’t listen to their consumers and keep making this and people like you keep buying this

    Welcome to 2024 Apple ????

  18. @cbickford

    October 28, 2024 at 10:33 pm

I think Apple’s reasoning for the bottom charging on the mouse is because they realllllllly don’t want people to have a cable running across the desk ruining the aesthetic. It means the mouse is always used wirelessly.

But then again, the keyboard doesn’t have this issue so idk.

Perhaps it would get in the way of gestures on the mouse
