Gaming with Mac in Apple M4 Processors
Playing Control and Wuthering Waves felt pretty smooth and fluid across each device, with the ray tracing on water and lighting looking especially impressive, even on a cartoony art-style like #WuWa. #gaming #macgaming #pcgaming #apple #wutheringwaves

The only “clean energy” is nuclear energy

They all have potential! Fuse energy sounds promising but the investment might be to much and dangerous. We already have energy producers created by mother nature. How fast can a tornado; twisters, hurricanes spin a turbine. One past of these can produce enough megawatts for a month of energy.

Fusion energy is not dangerous, it’s literally the holy grail of producing energy, it’s not possible for a runaway fusion reaction that can happen with traditional fission reactors, i.e. no meltdowns and the by product is helium, which as you may know is inert, it literally spits out party balloons 😉

Salton Sea is already a man-made Biohazard, only fit to be a lithium mine. We already carve up the landscape for Gold, Coltan, Cobalt, Coal etc. Lithium batteries will not be the energy dense standard forever. You have a better solution, or just relapse on the Petroligarchy’s teat?

Do sum reasearch. The states of South Australia and New South Wales are doing it NOW! using nearly aall just wind, solar and batteries. South Australia run 11 days 100 % on renewables. Keep the research going yes but we have the technology we need right now & it works.
Why didn’t you state how many birds fossil fuels kill? You’re not being balanced, you’re repeating lies.

We already have the technology to create an abundance of energy that is on 24/7 and carbon free. It doesn’t depend on the sun or the wind. It’s called a nuclear reactor. With current advancements they can now be made smaller and safer than before. Also in development is a nuclear reactor that can recycle nuclear waste. Nuclear is the way!

I’d like to see some information about dramatic gains in residential energy efficiency…. something that makes concrete old tech… or that can store heat energy more directly than solar pv that then has be converted back to heat… residential phase changing walls… actually convenient vacuum tube solar cooking and domestic hot water.

From these technologies the solar evs are definitely the biggest, though it’s a pity you left out their bidirectional charging capabilities which will help support the grid, as opposed to only draw from it. Disappointed you left out geothermal power like Quaise and EGS, HTC bioenergy
MOE iron smelting, Lilacs direct carbon capture for cement manufacturing, and future feeds asparagopsis seaweed that cancels our ruminant methane emissions. All of these will prove far more important and on a much closer timeline than wave power, solar glass, and fusion.

Coal, oil, fission, and fusion. Not only are they reliable, but they are constant and consistent. No internment loss of power due to mother nature being depressed. Lithium and rare earth magents causes more destruction due to mining and creates a dangerous by product. Mercury leaks in solar panels cause cancer and mental development issues. These chemicals are hazardous for a reason. To think oil is worse is like having a dried prune in your head.
Solar panels and turbines go out of use and hard to recycle. When a wind turbine is no longer used, it just sits as the fiberglass breaks off and pollutes the environment.
Lithium, Mercury, and rare earth magents have a greater potential of running out then oil, which is created organically and plentiful. Because of “evil capitalism” and innovation, we no longer have the problems that our parents and grandparents, so on and so forth, once had with oil and coal.
The so called man made carbon emissions have helped create more plant life as that’s what they breathe and eat.
Mother nature will do what Mother nature has always done. Just ask the dinosaurs.

Elon Musk says that a super tiny area of solar panels in the Sahara Desert is enough to power the whole Earth. So solar is the answer?

well every single one of these energy sources alone has the potential to supply all of humanities present and future energy needs. It’s not about choosing one over the other it’s about using them all together in an energy mix depending on the availability to supply quasi-infinite cheap and clean energy for every generation that comes.

Since about half the world’s population lives within 200km of the coast, it would seem efforts to harness waves would be of great promise. They never turn off, produce no carbon emissions and no radioactive waste. Seems like combining solar/wind/wave is the best answer.

Build a wall meters above the water in front of the floaties to knock the tops off of storm waves so you can generate power in all weather, all the time.
