I got to admit they are different but being different could be a positive…just need to Lower that price tag!

Samsung did an almost open ear design called the Buds live. The main reason I bought it and still use it is because my ears don’t get clogged and stuffy like all other buds closed design. I can use them for hours comfortably and able to hear things around me.

I love when Carnoy gets his hands on something new like this. I can see the genuine eagerness to review these. I have the Bose frames gen 1 and 2 and Bose soundwear for a fairly active lifestyle, one for day and one for night, I was never a fan of bone conduction. These are very much purpose built, not for sound quality but for ensuring you can hear your surrounding. I’m surprised that there is no Spatial Audio or AR like in their other active lifestyle products. But I’m interested in these!

I am a very considerate person with regards to sound pollution to others. Apples cheap ear buds leak like a shooting range target. Do these leak, I am sure they do. Hopefully users will be aware and considerate of others when in enclosed spaces.

      The leak very little sound.

Bose always let themselves down by releasing products that miss key features and promising future FW upgrades.. Why?

      Good question ????

The reason I wear earbuds is NOT to hear what’s around me!! ????

In Germany they cost 350 EUR gross. That´s way, way too high. As from 230 EUR downwards we can start talking. The idea however is really nice!

So more expensive than the QuietComfort Ultra Earbuds, but don’t sound as good nor have ANC? Why would anyone buy these?

Being a former Bose fan (my last two products, the Earbuds 1 and then QuietComfort ultra, being hyper buggy and faulty), I’m excited yet I will wait for the third generation or so.

Can a handful of engineers really do the work of an army of consultants? That’s the bet behind Ode with Anthropic — the joint venture dedicated to embedding forward-deployed engineers in enterprise firms, backed by Anthropic, Blackstone, Hellman & Friedman, Goldman Sachs and others.

On this episode of TechCrunch’s Equity podcast, Rebecca Bellan sits down with Ode’s leaders Chris Taylor and Eddie Siegel, who founded Fractional AI, the applied AI services startup that Ode acquired earlier this year to serve as the new venture’s core. The three discuss why so many enterprise AI pilots never make it to production and why they think AI-native services are about to become one of the biggest categories in tech.

7:29 How long does it take from hypothesis to production?

9:19 Measuring ROI: revenue, efficiency, and evals

16:37 Model choice vs. workflow redesign, and why it’s Claude-first
