    Personal opinion,
Current ai is all server based, companies don’t want the spyware leak of 3rd party wifi ai software.
Stand-alone ai software robotics is what the market is waiting for. If the companies have to pay $3500 a month per ai system why wouldn’t they just choose a human staff member? Ai won’t change the industry until it is standalone and not required to have a continual internet connection to perform.

Many ai companies offering ai robotics, are not independent ai and require a remote worker using VR equipment. That’s the exact same as having human staff but as on a wifi bill and charging bill, and repair technician costs.

(Followed by a brief Q&A with TED Chairman Chris Anderson)
