@Brian Donegan as in the features I tested only work for outdoor cycling. You can track indoor rides using the specific workout type!

A comparison between its tracking and a bike computer like a garmin would be interesting. I compared my garmin watch, bike computer and phone gps and there was a difference in how often they collected data which can make a difference when riding off road on twisty trails.

Here’s the problem with Fall Detection and why, as a long-time and long-distance biking enthusiast, I had to turn it OFF: The poorly designed software thinks a fall has happened with even a modest bump, when going even a modest speed such as 12-15 MPH. This happens on both gravel and paved surfaces. I then either have to shut off the alarm while riding (bad idea) or I continually have to stop the ride. Simply it, a very important feature, perhaps crucial for those of us who bike deserted gravel areas, cannot be used. (Series 5 on 8.1. Feedback to Apple sent several times.)
