I asked Bard to show me a pic.
Bart said he couldn’t do it.
So I closed it and never bothered with it again.
Why would anyone go back to A when they’ve experienced C already?

Yeah that’s an intellectual property issue, particularly copyright. It’s a legal issue, which goes to show why IP laws need to be fully abolished immediately:

I have a playlist (not _my_ videos) of *the* best videos on (IP) intellectual property abolition on my channel for all interested.

@CNET If you’re in a well-lit room, dark mode can actually make your eyes work harder

Update: Bard is slowly rolling out generative AI image creation and Bard now asks for your location for location based results. It’s evolving very fast.

Bard is good if u want images, other than that bard is kinda slow and doesn’t accurately understand your question if compared to chat gpt

Every 2nd question I ask BARD it states- It is a Natural language engine and cannot answer that – then I use ChatGPT and get a perfect answer.

    Bing + ChatGPT + plugins > Bard

Honestly once those all become free and have no limits it will be great competition to Bard, but for now, the cost plays a factor in making bard at least a bit more friendly for internet things compared to ChatGPT and Bing Chat

@Pruoo Bard is still like ChatGPT 3.5 and cannot be carried over to things like documents. Still need to paste links and stuff and cannot read pdf files within your computer. Huge fan of Bing button, not Bing chat. It’s what I use most frequently to summarise documents both within my computer and online and it’s free.

@F S Ah oki. I was just looking on the Chat side of things lol

How does it compare to ChatGPT? Is not available in Europe, so I can’t try.

OpenClaw creator Peter Steinberger takes us back to the transformative moment he let his AI agent loose on the internet, igniting one of the world’s fastest-growing open-source projects. He makes a fascinating (and slightly unnerving) case that agents are a real shift, not just better versions of chatbots, and explores how they might reshape your ability to work, build and create. “The lobster is loose, and it’s not going back into the tank,” he says. (Followed by a brief Q&A with TED Chairman Chris Anderson)
