Decent time to buy the first z1 extreme since they are charging more for this one and they extended the warranty for the z1 so it wouldn’t be bad to get it at like $400 or so even with dealing with RMA issues

I’m in the market, but I’m really concerned with all of the ASUS issues with customer service and warranty. It’s pushed me to the Steamdeck OLED. Maybe it’s not quite as capable, but I have faith in it’s durability and customer service.

I have ROG ally for 6 months and I never had any issue with it can play any games in 1080p. If your concern about the CS of Asus then I’d say a better alternative is the Lenovo Legion Go. Both Ally and Go have the same processor so if you don’t trust asus then go with legion go

What about the warranty / scam repairs? Why aren’t you addressing that? It seems like a very part of being informed about buying this product.
