Some people have clubs instead of hands and the rest of us use Magic Mouse, 1&2.

That’s your opinion, and that’s all it is: one person’s opinion. I’ve had the first Magic Mouse for years, and it still works (I use it at different location). Just last week I bought the current model. I love them both. They fit my hand fine without any strain. And for the port for charging, on the bottom: so what? Charge it overnight. No big deal. Your rant was tiresome.

I prefer the magic trackpad but i heard somewhere that the reason they made it is to you wouldn’t be able to take a picture or show it in any promotional material with the cord to keep the “magic” aesthetic, not saying its a good reason lol

I so much agree. I used this mouse for about one day before going back to my Logitech. Score: Logitech 1billion, Apple 0

What makes Logitech’s touch mice better than Magic Mouse?

    • Drew Page

      October 4, 2021 at 11:28 pm

@Frank I have no idea. I meant a regular Logitech mouse (using the little usb receiver).

      October 5, 2021 at 1:07 am

@Drew Page So your comparison makes no sense.

    • Drew Page

      October 5, 2021 at 1:13 am

@Frank you totally missed the point. The point is that normal mice are way better than this piece of junk. The point was not to compare apples to apples.

@Drew Page Magic Mouse is great product. It is not just for you. You have to compare it to similar products.

how they still continue to sell this POS is beyond me

Maybe Apple needs to hire “Moties” Watchmakers & Engineers(see book: The Mote In God’s Eye”)

I am so glad someone finally made a video on this POS

They should have kept the Mighty Mouse form factor and added the touch surface. Perfect!

Planned obsolescence, once the battery on the mouse degrade, you would have to use it plugged in all the time, but guess what? You cannot! Scumbag move to get you to buy another in a couple of years

I’m on board for the charging issue but bud I can’t get behind the “gripping issue” I’ve never pawed my mouse with a fully closed hand like some caveman

Lol, for me, apple magic mouse is comfortable and very pocketable. And with this mouse very easy to use photoshop, ilustrator because of multi-touch surface. This maybe the only mouse in the planet which has this. Mouse with scrolling wheel is much more worse. So in conclusion this person is trying to confused consumers due to good mouse.

Stop criticizing apple products that have been around for years if you don’t like don’t use it. Also who is this weirdo where Brian Tong? That’s right he left this joke of a channel

  15. William Clement

    October 4, 2021 at 10:04 pm

I use either the Magic Trackpad 2 or a Logitech M575 trackball mouse. I have a MM but am not fond of it.

  16. Litty

    October 4, 2021 at 10:08 pm

I think apple doesn’t want to put the lightning port at the front of the mouse because it would turn it into essentially a wired mouse

  17. Pennywise The Dancing Clown

    October 4, 2021 at 10:14 pm

CNET making reviews on devices that came years ago only to have them reviewed by a terrible reviewer to say that the mouse that’s has been around for years is now the worst mouse ever created because they don’t have anything else to review or whatever wow

that reddit post only had like 13 upvotes 1:31

At a prior job my coworkers, who were Mac fans, even admitted it sucked and insisted on a Magic Trackpad for the paired programming workstation. I just wished that workstation had something more ergonomic than the Magic Keyboard – I had to use my wrist braces when using that or I’d be in serious pain within minutes.

  21. Dale Walker

    October 4, 2021 at 11:55 pm

Okay. Lots of people here say they actually like the magic mouse. If that’s the case, what do you think is Apple’s worst designed product?

  22. Brian Davids

    October 4, 2021 at 11:59 pm

I lost my s**t when I got my first gen 2 mouse. Dumb! Period! They were lazy and didn’t try with this device, something I think is unforgivable for Apple.

  23. Mohammed S

    October 5, 2021 at 12:24 am

They should bring back the design of the apple pro mouse and just update it to be wireless, and have touch gestures. That mouse was both functional and aesthetically pleasing to look at.

    October 5, 2021 at 1:11 am

I think it’s great. It is ergonomic. The problem is just the lightning cable on the bottom. The cable placement is just awful.
