Woah just realized… They had the opportunity to make the light-up logo multi-colored. Huge opportunity missed!

Thank you for taking us around to those creatives and their exhibits at the LA announcement event since most of us won’t get to ever attend them. Great way to demonstrate what can be done vs. just showing the new hardware/software.

The glowing Apple logo was the reason I upgraded to the new MBP. My M1 Max MBP is still cooking, but I needed a reason to upgrade and the lighter weight and OLED screen were too great – but the glowing apple logo was just amazing. I don’t think I’ll be using the touch display but who knows.

Oh. That spells P-R-O. And do you remember when the Apple logo was flipped on the MacBooks?

I’d rather have more RAM than a goofy touchscreen or light up logo

I don’t need my watch low key spying on me and whatever ambient conversations are around me. There better be an opt out to switch that sh* off. I also find it ironic that the new speaker pod that has been ready to go for ages now and was only delayed because Siri…still doesn’t have new SIri. 🤦Good job, Apple. Can we please _please_ wake up from having these companies force feeding us AI in everything? I don’t need it, I don’t want it, and I’m capable enough that if I wish to engage with it, I can make that decision myself.

I’ve been a fan boy since iPhone 3GS, Apple is now a crowd pleaser instead of doing their own thing. From folding phones, to their half baked Ai siri and now touch-screen laptops. I’m afraid that Apple is collapsing on itself.

3:25 – Bridget never got into the real news of the real reason Apple made a touch screen laptop, which was the existing supply chain insisting on OLED screens having touch by default, and it actually costs more to omit the touch capability. Apparently, Apple was only avoiding touch screen LCD screens.

Please have colourful patterns designed/chosen or/and video by users appear on the Apple logo. It’s white atm because it has all the 3 colour elements (RGB) and it’s independent OLED. So it must be able to change colours and patterns by definition.

Come on Apple. (Not that I’d ever buy a laptop) But It would be fun.

The bigger question is when will the MacBook air get touch and light up apple logo?
