Investing without proper guidance can lead to mistakes and losses. I’ve learned this from my own experience. If you’re new to investing or don’t have much time, it’s best to get advice from an expert.

The issue is people have the “I want to do it myself mentality” but not equipped enough for a crash, hence get burnt. Ideally, advisors are reps for investing jobs, and at first-hand encounter, my portfolio has yielded over 300% since 2020 just after the pandemic to date.

You know what? Millions of Chinese people strongly support the U.S. banning TikTok right now! Most TikTok fans don’t know what recently happened in China. Douyin (another platform owned by ByteDance) banned a creator named Liufang Wu, which sparked anger among Chinese users! This fact demonstrates that ByteDance is manipulating its platforms to control public opinion!

    BAN TIK TOK!!! NOW!!!

  27. @Harteo3917

    December 7, 2024 at 8:30 pm

I really really hope Tik Tok gets banned that site is allowing people to pray on naive teenagers, encouraging cult behaviors, harmful and abusive behavior, and allowing all kinds of mentally ill people and con artists on it to make money on it by doing literally anything and telling constant lies one after the one. They’ll start this whole “life journey” thing or so called “self help” like the twin flame trend that is trying to form a cult and racketeering company and kids and teenagers are getting caught into it who don’t understand or know better.

Other social media sites in general need to be banned too because they have an account on all of those too adding to the harm they’re doing, but Tik Tok was the last step into total madness. Youtube is pretty different so it can stay but they need to stop all of that stuff happening on here too making money isn’t worth more than the harm it does to people.

Former senior US national security official Miles Taylor shares a personal account that raises a broader civic concern: the growing cost of dissent in American public life. Drawing on his experience inside government and living the consequences of speaking openly, he says that the real threat to US democracy isn’t the politicians or hard-liners — it’s the two-thirds of Americans who don’t speak up.
