All she does is use fearmongering (shocker, I know) to do what the left has wanted to do forever: erode rights and redistribute wealth. All of these lofty goals will cause more harm than good if there isn’t an alternative plan, which they don’t have. Plain and simple – you cannot control the climate – Earth will survive with or without us. Leave it up to God.

Nothing major will change. Until we have legally binding, annual targets with large penalties for not meeting them – then net zero will never happen. Stating a year 30 years from now is just kicking responsibility down the road to the next generation i.e. our children.

Climate change in the US is easy, we can regulate and hold our citizens responsible. The rest of the world, not the case. Net zero is a farce. No other county plans to forfeit money, food or civility to reduce their carbon footprint. Fix Inda, Asia, Africa, and maybe we’ll get close. But guess who we’ll never fix – India, Asia, Africa or any other third world nation that has never even heard of net zero. Survival is their climate of change. Stop greed, and maybe create a chance.

Let’s say all the world’s resources are poured into this, living standards within rich countries take a massive hit as a result while poor nations see a huge economic boon. What is the plan to prevent the inevitable global war this massive change in balance will create? Rich nations are going to see this as pure favoritism and their people will wonder why they should foot the bill for results they will never see. That is what needs to be discussed, the results beyond the big idea.

It is a global issue as seems and it’s reality, it would be better if all the countries could have take decision S on that. As a humen being in this earth it is all our responsibility to protect our earth let’s work on that . It must be discussed on the national organizations meetings and conferences. I am curious as to how the great green wall will be irrigated. It’s one thing to plant 100 million trees in a desert, but quite another to keep them growing.
I think we need to be more conscious of what we buy as individuals as well, our lifestyle choices and who we put in power. In Australia, right wing Parties dominate, because simple folk are easy to scare, and any decent politicians use honest messaging. They simply cannot compete with the deluge of corporate funded propaganda. How to win the votes of the uneducated is the key, as they probably don’t watch Ted talks.

Like crypto currency economy there should be a a “blue currency” economy. This blue currency is linked to green activities & poverty, with which you can buy only basic amenities(food/sanitary/health/books). Crypto is the currency of the “cash rich”; blue will be the currency of the “cash poor”!! It would also prevent misuse/misappropriation in the name of the “net zero” Revolution!!
