the more I hear about what Russia has been up to in Ukraine for the last few years the more it feels like the west just kinda stood by exclaiming “oh no, Putin you shouldn’t do that! that’s bad” and letting russia carry on

The war in Ukraine is just one front in the war between Russia aligned countries and the west. Iran’s wars in half a dozen middle eastern countries are just as important, they have made extensive use of hacking too, but the media is largely ignoring them and Joe Biden wants to reward them for being the largest state sponsor of terror and pursuing nuclear weapons, at the same time as he goes extremely strongly after Russian “oligarchs” who have said nada in support of Putin’s war. It wasnt enough that he helped overthrow the democratically elected government of Afghanistan last year, he wants to turn Israel/Turkey/Saudi Arabia into enemy states and enrich Iran with $600bn of sanctions relief over a 10 year period.

Did you ask why it happened? Tell people about NeoNazy, tell all dead kids in Donbass launch by Neo Nazy, tell how they bury people alive (civilians). Tell how your government doing cyber attack on Russian government. No need to say the end of the story. If Russia would not start war in some years we would have 3rd world war and there are no winners. Because of Ukraine wants invasion of Crimea with NATO force.

Thank you for being honest and doing good journalism. 👍 People need the truth. We need to stop the abuse. This strengthens the evidence that Putin is a war criminal. Ukraine is innocent and deserve better. Putin is a failure and coward. His narcissistic sociopathic personality shines through blinding him to education and truth.

    • JohnnyFriendly

      March 28, 2022 at 10:25 pm

Crap. Do you honestly think America isn’t involved in cyber warfare or doesn’t attack countries indiscriminately? Putin is no worse than any western leader in this respect. Also please learn a bit more about how this situation has come about instead of resorting to glib name-calling.

For 30 years NATO has been constantly expanding eastwards and now it has got to the point where there was the possibility of NATO troops in Ukraine itself, bordering Russia. What finally triggered this current situation was that in 2014 there was a US-backed coup in Ukraine. The Russian population of the Dunbass region didn’t accept it and Ukraine responded by shelling that region for eight years under the miscalculation that Ukraine would be allowed to join NATO. Now that the Russian bear has been provoked , both through bombing of Russian people and NATO encroachment, we’re now in this awful tragedy.

Bearing the above in mind, and without justifying it in any way, you can easily see why Putin did what he did and that there were many other actors (NATO, Ukraine) who must bear some responsibility. This infantile propaganda spewed in the West that Putin is a “narcissistic sociopathic personality” without explaining the context to all of this does not do anyone a service when sound education is required.

  67. Alexander G

    March 23, 2022 at 12:20 pm

If you read the novel The End of October by Lawrence Wright, you can get a glimpse of how Russia under Putin invades Ukraine then the other Baltic nations to re-incorporate Soviet territories. But Putin did so after cyber attacks that disabled US infrastructures. Fiction to reality.

  69. Morgan Gray

    March 30, 2022 at 3:05 pm

    Lie, almost everything

  70. Kei McPartlan

    March 31, 2022 at 4:25 am

All this time I though Russia invaded Ukraine. Russia is protecting itself against nato and Ukraine trying to conduct cyber warfare attacks against Russia and the west doesn’t even want russia in nato because they know that this will allow for Slavs to take Over Europe.

  71. Kei McPartlan

    March 31, 2022 at 4:27 am

If Russia were in nato then that would mean the Slavs have more freedom to do what they want and nato doesn’t want that because then businesses would fail and their regime would fall apart. Also religious clashes would be frequent.

  72. Kei McPartlan

    March 31, 2022 at 4:29 am

If nato could’ve worked out their differences with Russia then nato would be at peace. But nato doesn’t want a faction overran by orthodox Slavs.
