Curious and looking forward. Long time follower.
I always thought TED brought in a form of what communities had back in time when family and neighbours met at a bonfire or a fireplace in a home and shared stories, talking about work and experiences, and i feel amazed how this way of passing on information is the oldest way of learning, beside “learning by doing, trial and error”, somewhat the step after that, as it can be rooted better in some peoples brains than any book truths or stoic, referenceless studying.
Storytelling must be the oldest way of multiplying progress, sharing wisdom from experience, widening horizons and making your fellows change perspectives, find new point of views, connections.
I completely understand what Sal means with the ‘live’ feeling.
Curiousity and appreciation of knowledge and storytellers on their missions all on a meeting, sounds like a recipe for a wonderful assembly.
Couldn’t think of a better steward❤
