הורים שלנו כל כך תמימים….. בכל דרך אפשרית אתם רוצחים אותנו….. מהרגע שאנחנו נולדים….. משחיתים אותנו בגוף ובנפש בגיל שמונה ימים וקוראים לזה מסורת….. היום זה נחשב לקניבליזם…… אחר כך מערכת החינוך שאתם קוראים לזה בית ספר, זה בקטגוריה של בייביסיטר….. ובקטגוריה הזו דרך אגב הוא נמוך…… במסגרת הזו אנו לומדים איך להסיח את דעתנו להתמכר להסכת דעת ולשכוח מי אנחנו באמת….. ואז אנו ממציאים תוכניות לשיקום…. לשיקום מה ילד שנולד טהור?

אנחנו, ילדי החיים,
מכריזים היום דבר פשוט:
גן עדן עלי אדמות אינו יעד רחוק. הוא אינו פרס. הוא אינו הבטחה.
הוא החלטה.
החלטה לראות בכל ילד אוצר. החלטה לראות בכל אדם בן משפחה. החלטה לזכור שהזהות העמוקה ביותר שלנו היא אהבה.
מהיום אנו מפסיקים להאמין שאלימות היא בלתי נמנעת.
איננו מקבלים עוד את הרעיון שמלחמה היא טבע האדם.
איננו מקבלים עוד עולם שבו ילדים גדלים בפחד, קשישים נשכחים, והמשאבים של כדור הארץ משרתים הפרדה במקום חיים.
אנחנו בוחרים אחרת.
אנחנו בוחרים עולם שבו כל ילד זוכה לחינוך המותאם למתנה הייחודית שאיתה הגיע.

עולם שבו הצלחתו של אדם אחד תורמת לכולם.
איננו מחכים שמנהיגים יכריזו על כך.
איננו מחכים לממשלה, לדת או למערכת.
אנחנו מתחילים.
כאן.
עכשיו.
בקהילות שלנו. במשפחות שלנו. בשירים שלנו. בבחירות הקטנות של כל יום.
הדור החדש אינו מבקש רשות.
הוא פשוט זוכר.
והזיכרון הזה מתפשט מלב ללב.

This reminds me of the scene from Ryan Coogler’s sinners where we see a blend of african dance and music. Im so impressed and proud of these performers! May their hearts and hard work continue to be celebrated.

Ghetto Classics that was fantastic! I love that cello suite prelude in G, and I play it often myself. The ballet dancer was elegant & beautiful. I especially liked the hip hop routine. So much energy, so much fun, and quite a bit of choreo to memorize. And you all are so young! Very impressive. I can’t wait to see what you accomplish as you continue to grow.

Also, please forgive the cultural supremacists in the comments. Their negativity has nothing to do with you guys. Keep up the great work!
