Perfect for SF, pet owners want results with no effort. I think this device has a purpose, but it’s no where near the scope the creators seem to have envisioned.

They are planning to tag and train your kids too, you don’t want to know what tricks they are going to train them to do.

It’s called a cellphone and instead of treats we get likes 😂😂😂

@Pedro HurtadoI think it’s a lot more complicated than that….you might get likes when u do bad things…. And u might get dislikes when u do good things …. And the worst is that u might be bullied, scolded, threatened, stalked etc……just for a casual comment …..

if you need something like this you should not have a dog in the first place

Other rewards need to be used, not always food. A toy, praise, petting/rubbing can be just as effective.

What’s the point of this, training a dog is like why you get one?

  13. CVCCI

    March 3, 2021 at 4:51 pm

Wow. If you need this you’re kind of a pathetic dog owner.

Before we devoted dog lovers begin criticizing this, think of all the first time dog owners or new to dogs owners that have terribly behaved dogs – many of which end up in shelters. Suggest this is a solution for the “not good” dog owners – and we know tons of them.

Looks like a good idea at first … then incomplete and so gimmicky that It seems useless, I mean the only positive feedback it’s food …

  24. Richard Flanagan

    March 4, 2021 at 1:25 am

Or just learn to train your dog

“We aren’t putting dog trainers out of business, we wanna hire them to work with them remotely!”
I’m guessing that 100% of dog trainers become one because they actually wanna work with dogs.

This is a hobby-level prototype — that camera strip at the top is an off-the-shelf Intel Realsense D435, and they didn’t even bother to take the casing off. I doubt that an actually useful version of this product will launch any time soon.
