Also there’s one thing that often gets ignored: effectsdmay vary. Meaning that what X experieces, is not what Y experiences. And what doctors XY say, does not mean patient Z CAN’T have effects. This is not to support peptide use without talking to your doctor etc(and for thelove of pete, stop using stuff until you do if it makes bad stuff happen :p ), it’s to add the note that you can’t take anyones word on what WILL happen, while doctors generally have the best idea of what is most likely to happen.
As an example; if i take hair supplements, and get a lucious supershiny set of hair, it doesn’t mean bob will get anything. I might be a hyper respondertoXYZ,bob might be immune to ZYX. And ican’t stress this one enough; even IF someone decides to ignore their doctor’s notes on the dangers and does it anyway on their own dime, tell your doctor. They might not approve, and they can’t stop you, but they need to KNOW so they can keep you safe if something goes wrong. Nothig has to cahnge, but themknowing is a free safety net.

I think its worth considering that the anecdotal positive effects of the compounds might be plagued by placebo effect, so some of these people might aswell injected themselfs with NaCl solution for the same effects.

“Peptide” is like “Salt”
Sodium Chloride: explosive metal and extremely toxic element mixed together= table salt
Lead Sulfate: Toxic heavy metal and flammable rock mixed together= also a salt, but you _really_ don’t want it on your table

5:11 Jon oliver did an episode on supplements and found some contained just sand. Literal pills of sand. So yeah. That’s why we have the FDA folks.
