Sultan reveals how local communities are turning this crisis into opportunity, diverting hundreds of tons of waste from landfills and helping thousands of farmers adopt more sustainable techniques. Learn why…

The science is settled.. the oceans will DEFINITELY rise by over a metre.. because of carbon in the atmosphere and a warming planet.. I was screamed at by university professors in 1991 that said we couldn’t deny the oceans would rise by over a metre by the year 2016… A lot of you conspiracy people who were alive and lived by the ocean 40 years ago say the ocean hasn’t moved an inch and its 10 years since that 200% settled science prediction.. those people just need new glasses… The scientist could never ever be wrong and unlike the rest of humanity are not influenced by financial factors at all… I’d like to finish by thanking the number 33

Elon Musk talking about ice age and you here still talking about global warming 🙄 🤡 how pathetic

Technically we are still in an “ice age”…
and yes the planet is getting steadily warmer on average..

Musk is a clown, and anyone who believes anything he says is a fool. The guy will say anything that will get him more power and more money, he doesn’t care about anyone other than himself.

@smoguli
Yeah, BUT he is one very rich clown BECAUSE a lot of people back him with their money. How is it that he has bamboozled so many into believing he is NOT A CLOWN ‽ This is a serious question, because I don’t understand the dynamics going on here!

@Mentaculus42 ewm people are jelly that Musk is both smart and insanely rich.
Musk is indeed a very smart guy and doing a lot more to actually help people than most other people are

Elon is a genius in a sorta way! He has a talent in understanding how to manipulate people and the system to get what he wants. Once he got enough power he ruthlessly pushes his agenda forward using questionable tactics. He certainly is intelligent but constantly makes really dumb decisions that generally he recovers from. He is clearly not a competent scientist or engineer but rather has the ability to take credit for the work of others (and clueless people think that he is a genius). He has been unnaturally lucky but it is clear that he “buys his luck”, so again he does have that skill.

Convince China to dramatically reduce their emissions then get back to us. Lol. ( also consider methane coming from the oceans floor and how to cap it)

It reduces injuries when weeding tall weeds at every corner of section of farmland too when people who have done their grade school homework while being female get listened to more often too.

The issue is that these guys just throw numbers out there and expect us to believe them. After the Cowspiracy nonsense, I need someone to present numbers in a report coming from a single trustworthy institution that’s doing the work, and can show their work. Im tired of being expected to believe any of the numbers these people throw out there regardless of their credentials. This is capitalism, and people are out here trying to secure funding and investment in their ideas. That has turned TED into something more akin to Shark Tank these days, amd suggests that the information these presenters give can have a bit of bias or misleading nature to it.

The 90’s was a unique time in history, and that may not be apparent from the media. We were as a world celebrating progress and learning, and _actually_ in a time of peace. What we lost after 911, was feelings of safety and fruition. Now we count everything and see what our devices would suggest. Moving from counting, and back to experiencing would be a far more valuable goal than asking why we are _here._ 📴🛵🗺

Landfills in California collect the methane and use it as very low carbon fuel. It doesn’t seem to be that difficult or costly to deal with the issue.
