Not everyone cares, but lots of people actually do. I do, and she’s so right. And _you’ve_ got to do the work before people realize they actually do have time for you. There are lots of people trapped in their isolated lives who don’t actually realize how much they need to get out into the company of others *in person* – you need to show them.

That’s because we’ve all been fooled into believing relationships are the most important thing. There’s no trailer hitch on a hearse so enjoy the stuff and material things while you can. People are horrible in general. “In his image,” means violent aggressive and mean. Watch 1-3 year old children try to harm the baby. We’re not getting any closer to his image than the newborns and they’re horrible. We have to teach them to be nice. People will take everything from you. They’ll always let you down. They’re never done move on focus on other things people are for using remember that’s what you all taught us. Look at the president of the United States. The worst human being anybody’s ever met next to Hitler and yet, there he is. THERE’S NO HATE LIKE CHRISTIAN LOVE. 😂

And where are the people that reach out to me? One whose radar I am? Who need me? Friendship has some reciprocity in it, I’m done seemingly being the only one investing.

  22. @knorman982

    May 31, 2025 at 1:53 pm

How do you reach out to someone when then issue is having no one to reach out to? What if you don’t “have” a friend to text, family who cares or three relationships to foster? I’m lonely but tired of showing up for relationships that aren’t reciprocated. This is very one sided advice being given IMO.

Then fix the main problem – find right people to make friends with. This is what you can do. Find the community by your interests/hobbies etc.
