I consider it as a bad sign for the technology market when I watch such meaningless statements by CEOs.
Cristiano Amon from Qualcomm, just like Rene Haas from ARM, are telling fairytales about future plans…. while they are now in trouble with competitiveness of delivering COMPLETE systems – SW and HW.
Google isn’t helping because of its weird policy on developing its products – especially SW and Android OS.
Microsoft to this day has been unable to build a fully functional operating system for the ARM platform.
This slogan that the Snapdragon X is faster than the competition is just pathetically ridiculous…
Apple, on the other hand, is exploiting the emerging gap more and more – for example, by creating its own WiFi chips, 5G modems, etc. – – and they seem to be right….
