There’s a huge misconception that the consumer can demand and pretend there’s some kind of control over what they buy…this is pointless

  6. @PassportBrosBusinessClass

    November 17, 2024 at 11:44 am

I refused to upgrade from iPhone 14 Pro Max 1TB to iPhone 16 because they didn’t offer 2 TB storage. I’ll wait till iPhone 17 to waste that $1800.

    I need my storage.

    • @mikezmac

      November 17, 2024 at 12:09 pm

      I doubt you’ll ever see 2T.

    • @PassportBrosBusinessClass

      November 17, 2024 at 12:12 pm

      @

They said the same about 1 TB.

No: we will see it in the 17.

The AI and camera files demand more space.

And if they don’t- I’ll wait till 18.

      My 14 is going strong.

You will never get iOS users to jump ship to Android.

Android phones can fight amongst themselves.

    • @jevonsims900

      November 17, 2024 at 8:17 pm

What’s wrong with the Pixel 8A? Some people like the iconic back visor Pixel look over the newer Pixel 9 iPhone design.

Cnet is always biased towards iphone. Iphone 16 is just incremental over the 15 yet they’re on the list. No s24 ultra, pixel pro or foldable. Biased

A few days ago, I used an iPhone. Still can’t believe you can’t put the cursor where your want when typing. Plus no clipboard. I would never consider using an iPhone. Apple should focus on making the products user friendly

  34. @DavyoInVegas

    November 18, 2024 at 9:20 am

The entire iPhone 16 series is an insult to us loyal iPhone users, I’ve upgraded every year since the first generation but I’m keeping my my 15 Pro and will be seeing what happens with the IPhone 17 series and I will also be looking at the Samsung Galaxy S25 series.
Apple is definitely making me consider switching to Samsung.

I upgraded my iPhone 14 base model to the 16. I’ve never worried about the refresh rate but being in the UK it would be nice to get some of those Apple Intelligence features
