Mon copain m’a proposé d’essayer un nouveau jouet sexuel. Nous avons fini par lire le mode d’emploi comme s’il s’agissait d’un meuble IKEA compliqué. Assemblage nécessaire, en effet????

I was only hyped for Apple Vision Pro and Meta Quest because they were inevitably the stepping stones to get to this specific product. Smartphones were one of the greatest tools ever invented, and they’re going to end up having had a lifespan of only around 20 years

It’s like the flip phone. This is probably the new timeline for tech. Flip phones came in the 90’s died a little after iPhones debut. And now the smart phone is about to meet its end

@@markdammers3207 I’m excited because I literally cannot fathom what follows up AR/VR glasses. I’ve waited my whole life for this product

yea smart phones maybe be gone but a phone will not. it will just become better. shit who knows maybe glasses like this will become ur phone in the future, it’s actually a real possibility now that i think about it, we’re almost there tbh. we just have to figure out sizing and a few other things. because the apple vision is basically almost a phone like you can call on it and stuff but this is just the beginning for this kinda stuff. same as iphones not having all the features and size format as they do now. considering apples progress and the technology they have now compared to the beginning and that only being like some 20 years for smartphones specifically (they’ve been in business for longer) the technology now is TREMENDOUSLY more efficient and powerful and useful. so in another 10-20 years i wouldn’t surprised if your phone could be worn on ur head without it being obscuring or whatever

Phones will still be around in 20 years, just like books and radios and cinemas and tvs and desktop computers have all stuck around despite be ‘superceded’ by some superior tech. They all have their niche and their place.

The amount of money and companies with money invested in mobile and its ecosystem right now… I think itll be a long while before you can go out with your AR glasses and no other mobile phone device on your person and not be massively inconvenienced.

I tried VRchat on my Quest 2 and is the worse games out of all the available vr games. You’ll be surprised how many people still use Quest headset in other games
