    “Very bright was that sword when it was made whole again; the light of the sun shone redly in it, and the light of the moon shone cold, and its edge was hard and keen. And Aragorn gave it a new name and called it Anduril, Flame of the West.”
    -From Lord of the Rings by J.R.R. Tolkien

    “From the ashes a fire shall be woken,
    A light from the shadows shall spring;
    Renewed shall be blade that was broken,
    The crownless again shall be king…”

    I really don’t see the admiration for this company. The CEO looks like a child in a grown mans body. He has a childlike mindset, outlandish and strange spending habits. Don’t really see anything promising with this company. VCs are probably investing just to be pro-US military, but I don’t see this company going nowhere but bankrupt in the future.

    The dystopia of robocops is looking increasingly likely of becoming a reality and investors are stoke about it

      Yep… We ALWAYS forget the part about all of this ‘whizz bang’ eventually in some form or other being used by the the government and pointing it at ‘the people’.

    Without a human to give a green light to the killing; I don’t agree. If you can include the human element in a remote person authorizing the kill, then sure. Otherwise, I’d say unwise and undiscerning.

    if they used psychedelic therapy – defense budget would go down to $150b. anduril could still be a $100b worth company. they would just delete most of the stupid ideas like raytheon
