I’m surprised people are already so used to hearing about AI that this has become something boring for most people…
This is a multimodal LLM running on a phone… Something that has always been done in the cloud due to the computational requirements… We are literally seeing functions that used to take an entire server farm miniaturized into a phone…
These are small incremental steps towards better tech… And I hope people realize the amount of work that needs to be done to achieve this. Not just the tech engineers, but imagine the work of the millions of people that built the infrastructure that has made this possible.
