Price is a big no though … 2K for a phone

Uhmm, I actually tried the preview version for 6 months, I didn’t care for it. When used folded it was like holding a brick because it was too thick. And I never found myself opening it because I didn’t need to. I want a thin phone, not a brick that turns into a mini tablet. To each their own based on their needs, it’s not about iphone people or samsung people, it’s about individual needs.

It gets old after a while, no matter what the new iteration is, always feels off. Battery usually sucks, it’s an awkward size where it’s too small to replace a tablet but awkward to hold on hand (you have to use two hands to open your phone) and the cameras suck.

This is coming from a Z Fold 2, Z Fold 3 and Z Fold 4, now a OnePlus Open user. The OnePlus is the longest I’ve kept a foldable. But about a month, I usually switch back to my 15PM.

Everybody has their choice of which phone is better for their likings. But, the z fold imo is definitely not worth the price tag! Oneplus open along with other Chinese phones are better and with a less expensive price tag. And I’m a samuung s23 ultra user along with the oneplus open as well.

I love the design of 6 more, but there is no discount this time around and doesn’t go well with price increase. I got zfold5 on lauch day last year for 1350usd when trading in 5 year old 300$phone.

$1900 is just too much for a tablet. As for the phone, I’m going with a Moto Razr 2024. $700 is the perfect price for a modern day flip phone. Non-flip phones should always be under $500. Everything has an optimal price.

The going for software optimization on Samsung. Makes the battery last long compared to just having a bigger battery.
