Lackluster release, the benchmark was against 14900k with 6400mhz memory, with higher speed memory, it will just be on par with raptor lake,

    • @JynxedKoma

      June 3, 2024 at 5:41 pm

      “This people”
……..Don’t give criticism on grammar when your own is no better. Not to mention your lack of punctuation.

this is a bunch of tech words, as a presentation its hard to parse even though i know the jargon; you’re not giving a point of reference in a product that i can relate to
tell me it will give “x framerate in y game”, otherwise its just “number higher”

  9. @Kithuni

    June 3, 2024 at 12:23 pm

    Holy heck that was weak.

  10. @dbreardon

    June 3, 2024 at 12:51 pm

So where is the NPU for desktop 9000 CPU computers?

    • @gene081976

      June 3, 2024 at 3:02 pm

It’s the GPU (with AI optimized cores). Desktop users would get GPUs which will be superior anyway.

    • @JynxedKoma

      June 3, 2024 at 5:38 pm

NPU’s are inferior and always will be when met with dedicated GPU AI cores.

    • @fred-ts9pb

I can’t wait till we get strix point to desktop pc’s. I have Series X for serious gaming, but I play some games on pc with integrated graphics in ryzen 3 3200g and I’ll upgrade to AM5 once we get strix point with 16CU’s which will be a huge change!

  25. @reichfrog2

    June 3, 2024 at 7:40 pm

No mention of RDNA 4 GPU’s is disappointing. This is what I was looking forward to..
