Its good battery life if you have snapdragon version but if you have the exynos, battery life seems to suffer.

I was on the fence on whether I should get the new S24Ultra. With the life of the battery that would probably be the only reason to upgrade. I vlog a lot on my phone so the video component is a must. Thanks for a Great Review!!!

11:30 a.m.? What kind of a battery review is that? You gave your phone a 5-hour Head start. Most people would start their day at 8:00 and yet you want to start at 11:30? How is that even possible? Tell me how your results are actually going to make sense.

  21. @asprywrites6327

    February 8, 2024 at 7:33 pm

It’s at 100% because I just took it off the charger, so…
And btw, I traded in my S20 Plus with a crack in the screen and got a $700 credit from Spectrum where I pay $14 to $28 a month for service depending on how much data I use. I scored hard and paid $337 for the S24Plus.

Day 3 of my S24+ with the Exynos 2400 and with usage so far (~3.5hr SOT) it’s telling me at 90% battery will last me 21.5hrs. Still have my doubts on Exynos but let’s see how the battery goes after it learns my usage patterns.

Started my day at 7:45 AM using a galaxy S23 ultra and now at 8:25 PM battery life is still at 76% it’s a fantastic phone, I just don’t see any reason to update yet, just hope that the next software update will include all of the amazing S24 futures

  25. @kenyaarkansasgurl1546

    February 8, 2024 at 8:31 pm

I got a s23+ had it for 6 months been loving it ever since battery is excellent & it does over heat & love the software on the gen2 i can tell the big difference when i had my s21 plus major upgrade but i really want a s24 ultra 👍🏾 👌🏾

  26. @whatsfordinner62

    February 8, 2024 at 10:37 pm

Ive been holding off on upgrading to a new phone since my note 20 was working perfectly for me for the longest time. The difference in refresh speed and the performance of my s24 makes it far preferable to use and so far the battery is doing fairly better. Im glad that I took the plunge, this phone is far nicer and lighter-weight overall.

  27. @messiah967

    February 8, 2024 at 11:36 pm

The s24 regular battery life is not great , it is ok as its new .I think after 1 year it will suck . Hopefully it can last for 1 day .

got s24 last week. the battery is awful.. i only used it for browsing and texting, it never lasted more than a day. last night i was in the taxi for 10 min, i was browsing 9gag, the battery dropped from 15% to 5%.. in 10 min… awful… ill return it and get s24+, seems like a better option

  36. @krabhinav2002

    February 9, 2024 at 3:07 am

If only we had snapdragon here in India….

  37. @amfrepo

    February 9, 2024 at 4:56 am

The issue with Exynos, and many YT creators miss this, is that the QC on Samsung-made Exynos is hit or miss. So there is no doubt there are efficient S24+ (Exynos) out there. But for every 10 of those there are five that heat up, have subpar battery life and perform inconsistently. I am sure Samsung tested all the ones that went out to reviewers to make sure they got la creme de la creme.

So a warning to buyers: if you are lucky you will get a good Exynos, but if you just can’t get a break then you could end up with one that sucks. That is why I will avoid them and leave them for the hardcore Samsung fans that are more forgiving.

S21 Ultra at 83%. Great video

  39. @werderlicious

    February 9, 2024 at 8:01 am

I am dissapointed. Switched from S23 (Snapdragon) to S24+ (Exynos) and the S24+ seems to make it (battery life) worse 🙁

  40. @anshukumar5180

  43. @SunriseWaterMedia

    February 9, 2024 at 10:56 am

My old s21 ultra was 6.5 hours SOT when I sent it in to trade last week. My brand new S24 ultra is 6.75 hours of screen on time. Not really happy about that. 🫤

  44. @atvega7

    February 9, 2024 at 11:27 am

These two seem very solid. Love the scene with SF2 in the background!
