    Mark Gurman says that Apple should, but does he express why Apple should? If he does, I guess I didn’t find his statement very clear.

    Common, is that really what you want? They didn’t have a reason to make it in the first place, there was nothing special about that product. Apple wouldn’t be capable of making real privacy feature because that would be non profitable.
