    The M1 chip is still great. A good time to pick up old stock or refurbished M1 devices.

    The chip thing is a load of nonsense. There are third party apps that can unlock the brightness limit on the m1 and m2pro MacBooks. It’s just something Apple is saying to artificially make the new laptop seem better.
