Tik tok is a harmful and malicious Chinese malware, no matter who is concerned about it, Tik Tok is still a multi national security threats

Yeah what a joke. TikTok includes National security

Replace Tik Tok with any other AMERICAN company pushing social media platforms & you might actually make sense, since they all do the exact same things with your personal info

really? Tik Tok is harmful based on what? are u cybersecurity expert? I’m sure u just decided 2 forget about the whole Cambridge analytical stuff etc ..pls don’t be running ur mouth if u don have facts

    • govind s

      August 25, 2020 at 12:07 pm

@Ernest Nduka it’s kinda foolish when you say like that. All apps can be dangerous depending on what they Access and who is accessing.
China is dangerous so is zuckerberg.
It’s already proven that they keep tabs on their people so what keeps then from doing the same on other tiktok users. And zuck well he is not dangerous but he just don’t care that makes him an issue.

ok people, you want facts? here they are.

1.Tiktok have been reverse engineered and the results show the app has been collecting all data from your clipboard to your contacts etc… at a much higher intensity than other social media apps. The data they collected are also encrypted from the users which means Tiktok is trying to hide what they knows about you. This does not happen on other social media like FB and Google.

      2. Google and Facebook also collects alot of data, so why only ban Tiktok? this argument is half-baked to say the least. First, Google Apple FB and other big techs also face Anti-trust hearing with potentital breaking them into smaller companies in the US. Second, Tiktok is obligated to hand over data and cooperate with the totalitarian regime China by Chinese law while US companies have a choice. US firms can choose to not cooperate with US government. (look up Apple vs FBI lawsuit)

      3. China can and did turned Tiktok into a propaganda machine. China can enforce its political will on any Chinese-linked companies. There have been many occurrences of Tiktok banning videos about Hong Kong, Tibet, Uyghers concentration camps and other topics that China deems sensitive. Smaller instances are Chinese propaganda operation who prey on young American on Tiktok to bend their political view, these cases are not reported on mainstream media because the scale of them are too small but certainly showcase how deceitful Tiktok can be.

      4. Cambridge Analytica is the earliest major incident of how Big Data can be exploited for mischievous political gains. It should serve as a warning sign to everyone, instead it was used as a tool for China playing the victim. CA is about one American politician using big data for votes, namely Trump. Imagine how scary it is for China to control the public opinion of the most democratic country in the world? and Chinese government have been brainwashing their citizens since forever, look up Wechat and Chinese social credit system. do you think China will hesitate to brainwash some more white guys?
wake up, Tiktok is only one tentacle from Chinese propaganda machine.

i’m voicing concerns about Chinese spyware only for people with a brain, not maggots from Xi Jinping foots.

There’s nothing illegal , deliberately wrong for Zuckerberg/Facebook…or any company to complain about their competitors. Facebook a relatively young Company. Tik Tok’s scalability, is rocking the facebook boat.
Has Zuckerberg, reacting uncharacteristically , airing opinions/dirty laundry publicly. I’ll take Facebook, over Tik Tok any day!
