An AI can’t really make a guilty person seem innocent, that’s where the most money is anyway

that’s what money is for, not AI.

That would be a good lawyer (for you) he’s talking about. They do exist believe it or not.

China has them right now. It’s coming. Bye bye mr propaganda man.

Human lawyers are only valuable to the guilty, thats why we need AI to present all unbiased evidence, to make it impossible for the lying lawyers!

  6. John McCormick

    October 9, 2023 at 3:36 pm

Sounds like a real ‘billable hours’ answer

  7. solala

a lawyer is not only trained in law but also helps the client to present himself in court and on paper like an innocent person.

    • Shawn Lund

      October 10, 2023 at 9:12 am

And what minuscule percentage of lawyers actually represent clients in court? The job will be lost to AI

    • solala

@Shawn Lundif AI is my lawyer, I’m going to jail bro

  9. Edmund

Short answer: a lawyer can lie and bend the truth 😃

    • KRasta Smoke

      October 10, 2023 at 1:01 pm

I mean, AI can easily lie as well. Just ask it anything about gender, ethnicity or race.

  10. Terry Situ

  11. Cindy Bowen

Lawyers won’t have to pay paralegals but will still bill the hours.

I agree. AI already helps me as a teacher manage some of the drudgery of teaching. With that ability I can focus more on student needs.

    • Shawn Lund

      October 10, 2023 at 2:46 am

AI is going to allow every student to have an individually crafted learning program, specifically designed to meet their needs and goals. Teachers will be a thing of the past.

Mrs Melissa Barnett is the only one I can leave my investment with and think less about it, she is my money maker. I just received $24,300 of my investment last month. I am very happy because she is leading me to financial freedom

if a lawyer got years of experience, AI can potentially have Millenia of experience and knowledge of cases

  19. Mark

    October 10, 2023 at 5:46 am

I’ve started using chat GPT to help write contracts for my company. Typically what I do is call a lawyer for advice and ask them exactly what key points a given contract should stipulate. I’ll then get Chat GPT to write the contract and verify that it has the most important points mentioned by the lawyer I spoke to. It’s a very cost-effective solution for more basic, low risk contracts and is an improvement over using general template contracts alone.

AI needs to replace real estate agents first

You are a lawyer? Argument is rather weak

  22. KRasta Smoke

    October 10, 2023 at 1:01 pm

That’s exactly what AI is capable to do. Give it a history and stenographies of court practise and you will be useless.

  23. Jake

    October 10, 2023 at 1:56 pm

It would be a great tool for pinpointing whay law youre referring to though. And there would be a lot fewer people able to get away with lying about what the law is.

  24. Aaron S

    October 10, 2023 at 2:04 pm

I would trust an AI lawyer over most lawyers of today. You guys tend to be overpaid and underperforme spectacularly.

  27. Phil Ritchie

Simply yes but it’ll make less mistakes than most lawyers. It’ll have no edge against the opposition

  29. Tryxa

    October 12, 2023 at 8:03 am

You can train AI on thousands of cases and even teach it to lie for its clients. Lawyers are going to be replaced like everyone else. The question is not if, but when.

  31. Michael Vitovich

You hope so, however, I might trust AI that knows all the legal cases and how the were won or lost.

Hiring a lawyer can be like wrestling in the mud with a pig, the only thing is the pig in joys it..
