Why is quick resume being made out to be such a big thing? Honestly who switches games while their playing something already. If you have the attention span of a 5 year old then yeah it’s a great feature.

It makes me laugh how the Sony Toxic put them as “fools” for showing an XBSX and not a PS5😂😂😂
They insult a cool review, but praise that PS5 gave a controller to Travis Scott

I hate the fact that FPS is left up to the Developers where they can opt in or opt out as they please. 60FPS should be mandatory.

Everyone knows Quick resume is a game changer…..that’s that it’s supposed to do, change games quickly. The real “Game Changer” is swapping between online games quickly….and that ain’t happening.

I don’t get how quick resume is a game changing feature. Great I can have 5 games open at once and change between them. But if RDR2 is taking about 15 seconds a year or 2 from now it will take as long to QR as loading a game. I mean this gen is suppose to be about no loading times so loading a game shouldn’t be that bad. I feel quick resume is there because the games won’t load as fast as they could. I mean having a game boot up in 30 seconds vs having 5 games open is gotta be a drain on resources as games become bigger. All the quick resume games are older. Most are at least 2 years except for Doom 2. So I would expect those games to load quick. But RDR2 showed that games made with that much detail will take much longer.

I wish that he would press the start button at least once while he was playing control just to see if it’ll stutter cause that happens when you play it on the one x. I want to see if it’ll stutter on the series x.

Quick loads are def an immediate gain but once games are built for these consoles and developers put more things in to load it will go back to 1min load times

  36. Sim Pedros

    September 29, 2020 at 11:04 pm

It’s not much of a shock is it. When mid gen came out they ran older games better. And a ssd is miles quicker surely everyone has a pc or laptop so it’s not news 🤷‍♂️
