Almost 6 years. Last phone was 2016 Galaxy S7 before getting iPhone 13 mini this year.

Its not just about the new phone but its about the value decreasing after a year. I upgrade my phone yearly to keep the initial invested value high.

I end up with a new phone usually because of cosmetic damage. Glass phones are expensive to repair. “Cheaper” to replace. SAD

No need to upgrade. These phones are all the same. LOL

Phones should be released every year because they exist in the industry called “INNOVATION”. Huawei was leading when it comes to innovation but the ban impacted it.

Why does this video point out Apple? Every other company releases new phones every year.
(Hint: Companies exist to make money and make money to exist. Imagine a company wanting to make money, oh my Lord stop the press!)

I HATE VZW forces us to lease the phones for 3 years and by the 3rd year the battery is weak!

My wife has a 13 pro and I have a 12 pro max every other year we upgrade and pass our older phones to someone in our family and we just keep going

iPhone, iPhone 2, iPhone 4s, LG G3, LG G5, LG v30, LG v50, iPhone SE(2016) still have it after 6 years of ownership. Love the smaller phone again after owning a heavy 6.4” screen. replaced the ‘16-SE battery once, currently very interested in iPhone 14 announcements tomorrow. Will probably replace the battery again in the’16SE

I upgraded from a Xs Max for a 13 pro, and thought I would keep it for at least 5 years. But the other day, the phone fell down and the touch glass cracked. Despite the fact that everything is working, to replace the touch glass I have to replace the whole screen. And the price… better to wait for the 14 pro and trade at the price of a screen module

I threw my 12 Pro Max right in the garbage after it got water damage.

I wish phone company’s would be forced to make phone’s with backs that can come off and batteries that are easy to replace. I miss the good old days when I could just buy a battery on Amazon and have 1 phone for 5 years 🙁

I still have the 11 Pro Max and it does everything I need it to so no sense in upgrading at thhis time.
