So Don became the oppressor to victim after you went from just lazy face value assumption to objective analysis. Hard to pay attention to every individual in this busy modern life though.

Some think it is the big things that cause men to stumble. Often it is the minor ones that shake us the most. This shows the futility of self-confidence.

Nice message, but ironic when government has locked us away from each other, closed schools, made us afraid to be around other people (especially their virus laden faces!), ordered to cover our faces until penalty of the law, and now kicking out co-workers who refuse to get vaccinated. The only global catastrophe was the fear and panic of totalitarianism among the submissive class who do not pay attention and still think all these harms were the result of 2% of all people who get infected dying, which includes 1.9% of them being old and sick already.

Geez what a freaking Social Gospel guilt trip. Just like I’d expect from LGBTQ friendly churches; don’t look vertically, look horizontally. I think I will keep my heart and my eyes set on what is above where Christ is, seated on the right hand of God, and you can keep telling fairy tales about violent landlords

Drawing aside, most public libraries will have a copy of Mahler’s 8th Symphony and a listening room. Plenty you tube feeds of the same. Toward the end of the Symphony the text calls us not to a horizontal view, but a vertical one. Doctor Marianus and the chorus beckons us to “Blicket aut zum Retterblick,” to look up to the redeeming gaze.

Sometimes there is no hope to be found in this world, and yet, even a public library can point us in the right direction, which I am afraid, is not, horizontal.

Peace. Interest Processes. The greater the interest the greater the success. The brain processes interests, which make the heart it needs happy. Why often a human will run away from fear. Fear causes the heart the brain needs to pound harder at what is causing the fear, the brain then does not like this, for the brain loves the Heart the most.

When I was homeless in Portland, Oregon they frowned on homeless people in the library. Portland (the liberal epicenter of a very liberal state) treats homeless people terribly. They have no idea what they’re doing and are completely incompetent. Most of the people in the social services industry are ½ a step from homelessness themselves. They applied for the job because of their contact with social services when they were homeless.

SUCH A LOVELY MESSAGE, WENDY!! Thank you for sharing your gift and perspective with us. I frequently do the blind portrait exercise in my PLAY workshops. I get the drawers to draw themselves and see themselves in a new light. Your exercise of drawing a stranger and practicing the art of “looking” is the perfect perspective shift I needed today. Thank you once again. And I’m excited to watch strangers draw each other in my future sessions!

I publish the print version of ‘Diamond Dragons’ on 12.21.21. It contains 60+ illustrations, some of them, hand-drawn. A few, crafted by myself. But, unfortunately, my Time has been cut short.

I doubt anyone will understand just how spiritual the book is (at a glance), but… I hope some people find out how far the portal of fire leads.

*”Time is the only resource for which no creature may bargain.”*

    🐲✨🐲✨🐲✨
“Before I start, I must see my end.
Destination known, my mind’s journey now begins.
Upon my chariot, heart & soul’s fate revealed.
In Time, all points converge–hope’s strength re-steeled.
But to earn final peace at the Universe’s endless refrain,
We must see all in nothingness…
    …before we start again.”
    🐲✨🐲✨🐲✨

Robinhood is looking to catch up to the Apple Card. The consumer trading service announced its long-anticipated credit card, the Gold Card, to compete with Apple’s offering. Open only to subscribers of Robinhood Gold, the Gold Card features 3% cash back on all purchases and the ability for users to transfer cash earned to their brokerage accounts.

As Apple expands into more fintech services, Robinhood is racing to eat a portion of the same market — users who prefer a tech-first option over a traditional banking relationship.
