Musk has always been buds with Trump. Same with Peter Theil. What do they all have in common? They have tantrums and have no self-control.

Now he believes that this byruz is overrated, because most hospitals are on 30% capacity and nurses are been laying off and beds aren’t been used so says that If you’re afraid just don’t have contact with the outside.

Good for Trump. This covid hysteria needs to end, people have become completely detached from reality.

    • DJ M

      May 12, 2020 at 11:20 pm

I would say that speaking elf and giving an elf name to a person is being completely detached from reality. Just like thinking that we all live in a virtual simulation. Or that China is doing a better job when they actually had a stricter lockdown. Also, the virus started there so Musk is just nutty when he says these things. He came to the US and is now worth 40 billion. He should be thanking us as much as us thanking him. Those are my tax dollars and R&D from decades of taxes building his rockets.

    • Palette Tools

      May 12, 2020 at 11:31 pm

@DJ M Musk isn’t perfect, nobody is. One thing is for sure, the world is not completely safe. The risk of death from covid is low enough to risk going to work.

    • DJ M

      May 12, 2020 at 11:53 pm

@Palette Tools no it was not. Look at the infected million. Could have been a million dead without lockdown.

How preventing people from working at Tesla prevents further deaths of 80 year olds in nursing homes I don’t know. Almost all hospitalizations are people over 50. How many people over 50 work at Tesla anyway?

    • sparkle sparkles

      May 13, 2020 at 12:52 am

They become carriers. It wasn’t all the 80 year olds that brought the virus from overseas, they were all young workers and travellers.

    • NicSD

      May 13, 2020 at 3:35 am

@sparkle sparkles Vulnerable people need to isolate until a vaccine or herd immunity. You don’t shut down a world economy to prevent secondary transmission – there are far more cost effective ways to do that. Further, at least in NY, Cuomo forced CV+ patients to return to nursing homes, even though the homes didn’t want them. That was a prime source of infection.

    • Brian Matzen

      May 13, 2020 at 4:55 am

sparkle sparkles they can’t get it if no one working there has it. Be aware they all have to be tested weekly and have to wear safety ppe and temperature checked daily.

    • MetalCircle6651

      May 13, 2020 at 5:09 am

@NicSD Well, you can’t just send all old and weak people into an island to protect them. Many people have at least a close person who’s weak, or is an elder.

These guys are idiots, if someone gets sick expect a few law suits and the plant to shut down. It’s going to happen, and once people start getting sick, and they pass it to friends and family they’ll realize this isn’t a joke and it’ll be late.

  26. GuEnavEre408

    May 13, 2020 at 6:49 am

Elon should work with his employees side by side so that he knows what it feels to have the risk of exposing your families. Oh too late he already assigned some new manager to take over his place in the Fremont plant. what a c@!
