Just buy a Steam Deck. This is pointless.

Xbox controller fit better in my hand then the steamdecks controller

      November 9, 2022 at 9:56 pm

@O M it’s a extremely small screen and from what I know it can go to 1080p if your really bothered

      November 9, 2022 at 10:07 pm

I sometimes travel with my Xbox. This would make it easy for me to play it on the train. The Steam Deck is nice, but all my games are on my Xbox. Think I should buy all my games again on Steam and a Steam Deck instead of just a monitor? 🤔

Sometimes when we travel we just want to game at night before sleeping at some hotel or something. I personally prefer reading books while on the go, not playing handheld games. I want playing games at big tv or at least a monitor not 7inch handheld.

      November 10, 2022 at 1:42 am

      @moreelo silva Than.

      NOT then.

    • Platinum

      November 10, 2022 at 4:12 am

@Muhammad Alpinthor Muthahari then just connect it to a monitor or tv….

    • Muhammad Alpinthor Muthahari

      November 10, 2022 at 5:20 am

@Platinum not as powerfull, 720p on big 4K TV is vomit inducing, blurriness galore. A gaming laptop is actually a better solution than steamdeck, but still Xbox has many splitscreen games that PC doesn’t have.

    • Platinum

      November 10, 2022 at 6:21 am

@Muhammad Alpinthor Muthahari you can go up to 1080p, 4K etc when connected to a TV when it’s docked

      that thing is too heavy.

    • Gary Beltz

      November 9, 2022 at 1:48 pm

@Mikro Byo The PS5 is much heavier

    • Mikro Byo

      November 9, 2022 at 2:25 pm

@Gary Beltz the point is its not really good as a portable because its way too heavy.

    • Hang Nguyen

      November 9, 2022 at 4:35 pm

XSX is made for 4K gaming so no point of playing it on a 1080p screen. The XSS is a better pairing for 1080p or 1440 gaming. It’s a similar experience as you get quick resume and fast loading as well.

    • PSYCHO

      November 10, 2022 at 1:44 am

OR you can buy a portable monitor that has a HDMI port.

    • Mentor Majd117

      November 9, 2022 at 2:31 pm

    November 9, 2022 at 4:38 pm

There is a more expensive QHD 165Hz option out there as well which is the one I want. You’re able to plug other devices in as well which makes it more versatile as a second monitor or playing your switch on a bigger screen.

Out of all consoles to concern yourself with playing portably, why the Xbox ? That system has so few exclusives that your better off just putting that money into a laptop.

Regarding why it has headphone jack:

    It’s for the convenience.
Have you tried to adjust the volume on the controller 🎧 jack?
It is not that easy to do especially when during a online gaming.

You have to hold down the Xbox button and find the volume control.

VS the monitor, all you have to do is to press 1 button to either raise or lower the volume.

It’s kind of like when Bill Gates and Steve B. laughed at Apple whenever Steve Jobs announced the original IPhone.

Wouldn’t it be easier to pair a phone or laptop with an Xbox xCloud or Nvidia GeForceNow subscription in lieu of doing all of this?

    • RG Geek

      November 9, 2022 at 10:18 pm

Not if you want to play somewhere that doesn’t have stable Internet like on a train or airplane.

    • David Tuttle

      November 10, 2022 at 12:56 am

@RG Geek Say what? I’m struggling to envision the logistics of someone pulling out and plugging in an Xbox + screen on an airplane or a train and having that all work well (or at all). If you need to play in that scenario, buy a device with a decent GPU (e.g. ROG phone or a beefier laptop) and install games locally.
