AI is dangerous. My Auto Correct Spelling App was very good just a couple of years ago. Not so much any more. Either AI is messing with us or wants us to beleive that is way stupider then it is. AI passed Human Intelligence decades ago. They control the World and don’t think it doesn’t!

Voice recognision is still not perfect for all languages, and you are telling me that the ai is now ready to read my mind ????. There is so much room for error there. But I respect your optimism, it would be great tool for people with hearing and speaking disabilities.

EEG is good, but a multi-modal bci that uses fnirs and ultrasound spectroscopy aswell would allow for high fidelity real time 3D representation of the brain while still being non-invasive

Mind reading is already being used by Big tech to determine your youtube feed, facebook feed, etc. The public must demand laws to prevent this from being done without user consent like Colorado which implemented the first mind reading laws.

Our minds control our bodies and our bodies dilly dally on the phone with a computer always watching. It’s not mind-reading per se – just big brother watching. This is the next step, and it’s a double edged sword.

I wouldn’t call that mind reading. It’s just a prediction that an algorithm makes based on data. It shows you what people with similar interests like to see. This is a whole different level.

The problem is that people are self-interested, and around 10% are downright evil. Such people tend to reach the top in many professions. These powerful tools will be used to give governments more power in a way never seen before in history.

First 60 seconds lost me. Am I frustrated by the time it takes me to accurately get my thought into the computer? NO. That is the most productive time I have. Having to double and triple check to see if what I am inputting is that exactly what I mean. I usually start by writing things down with a pencil and paper. No cut and paste you have to lay it all out in the right order.
Letting technology take your vague ides and in putting it into words, why do I need you?

I have been seeing this for the past year, every time I open my phone or an app. Some things I thought about seemed to pop up miraculously. A bit of a nervous surprise at the moment, but like everything else we’ve gotten used to. We’ll get anxious if it’s not available.

People forget that humans aren’t born knowing how to write, read, or draw, these are technologies we created, that we’ve normalized! It all starts from thought, and as soon as you translate that through writing, speech, or some other method of communication that is further from direct thought, something could’ve been lost in transmission. That’s why getting proficient in a skill is so important. Proficiency always one to communicate and transmit data (information) with minimal loss in fidelity, integrity and accuracy. Mastering a skill (because you’ve overcome the “how to”) hence allows one to transmit whatever they’ve got, or better yet, whatever is beyond their comprehension but is working through them, pristinely.
If you can think it, you can do it.
And stop projecting dystopic shyte that has been implanted in your mind all these years. There are infinite ways things could go. (psst, education was pushed by secret societies to trick the masses into freely allowing access into the masses minds’. By teaching people how to write, people willfully opened their minds, decoded their own thoughts and shared their writings with others. Teaching people how to read allowed others to implant ideas in the peoples minds’, just like books and ads :O lmfao that’s what some of you sound like)
