Huge money making potential around wiring up agents and also building non trivial interfaces to them.

    Don’t sleep on this people.

I managed to grow a nest egg of around 120k to over a Million. I’m especially grateful to Adviser Ruth Ann Tsakonas, for her expertise and exposure to different areas of the market..

how would you recommend i enter the crypto market? I am also looking at studying some traders and copying their strategy rather than investing myself and losing money emotionally. What’s your take on this approach? and How can i reach her, if you don’t mind me asking?

These AI hype trains are hilarious.
How naive & disconnected these fat cats are to not forecast ~70% of their AI ‘realistic interactions’ will end up bein close-up, stroking 🦆 shots and demands for the AI to remove articles of clothing.
    Because people.

All the companies which announced “huge impact because of AI” are actually the companies which are selling AI!

  14. @NighthunterNyx

    January 4, 2025 at 3:53 am

Google and Microsoft CEOs had a bunch of nonsense when it came to ROI on AI and their multibillion spending sprees. So far it seems AI chatbots don’t have good enough application to justify investments. Beyond manipulating elections and fraud there seems to be very little practical use of faking someone’s voice or video. Chatbots require to be included in a complex “agent” meaning a big application that uses AI to infer facts from natural speech and synthesize natural language responses from an app. That is what agents are – interface to your order system that is not a web page but instead you can write something like “I want a pepperoni pizza” and have the AI ask “here to go?’ Wait for answer and then ask “How will you pay? Credit Card or cache?”…that is what agents are….

the introduction of AI may lead to a several-fold increase in GDP with a reduction in employment by several dozen percent :). It sounds abstract, but this is the reality.

too early. O1 still makes tons of mistakes. its always the non-technical people shilling towards agents. Its just an LLM with a memory base and tools. Eg it’s very limited. Its not happening this year

  28. @john_dee1431

    January 4, 2025 at 7:40 pm

The question is not whether it can get beyond the hype stage. The question is whether it is more effective from a profit generating perspective if customers are lost due to its use. Consider that.

This is spot on! AI agents are definitely the next big thing. I can’t wait to see how they’ll free up our time for more creative work. Anyone else excited about this?

  38. @vinceliardi1662

    January 5, 2025 at 2:34 pm

The notion that AI Agents, with their ability to automate entire workflows, will just free up humans to do the creative work is only one half of the full story. You’re being handed the rose-colored glasses and ushered into the spin zone. Cathy is blatantly ignoring the fact that there will be massive, irreversible job losses directly caused by the automation of entire workflows via agentic AI. I just wish these tech reporters were more candid about that.

  39. @changedNameSorry

    January 5, 2025 at 4:21 pm

The problem with ai content production is actually that there is more than enough of derivative content already. The problem is rather to find the interesting, original content. And that was something where past implementations of ai did help a lot. I don’t need an ai to summerise a complex problem for me, I prefer humans to do this for me. I’m just happy if the ai guides me through all the trash towards sincerely original content, as it did in the past.

    Great video

  41. @tofusats7468

I think this tech will be huge during 2025. With new development, and platforms such as Mode network working tirelessly to bring AI Agents closer to the audience with wide variety of use cases available, I’d say we’re looking at something great right here
