I have to say, I’m really disappointed with Apple these days. I’ve been a loyal user since the very first iPhone, and after dabbling with Android, I’m seriously considering switching back. My most recent iPhone has been a letdown—it struggles with AI functionality, and to top it off, the screen flickers! When I took it to the store for help, they wanted me to pay a fee for repairs. After doing some research, I found out that this is a widespread issue, which feels completely unfair.

On the other hand, I appreciate your fair review highlighting the lack of true tech innovation lately. While it seems like the smartphone world has stagnated, I’ve noticed a surge in innovations for our homes. I hope more tech companies focuses on enhancing those aspects to make our everyday lives easier and more enjoyable!

Our father passed away, may God have mercy on him, and we have no one in this world to be with us in these harsh circumstances. My family and I, our house rent per month is 20 thousand Yemeni riyals and now we owe 60 thousand for 3 months and the owner of the house is one of the people who do not have mercy. By God, my brother, he comes every day and humiliates us and talks about us and wants to throw us out of the house to the street because we could not pay him the rent and he does not leave until after we cry and go back and talk to the neighbors and we give him until the end of the week and if we pay him he swears by God he will throw us out to the street without mercy. My little brothers went out to the street and saw the neighbors eating and stopped at their door to give them even a piece of bread. By God, who owns the heavens and the earth, they closed the door and he threw them out and they went back crying, dying of hunger. No one had mercy on them and the holiday Reply to her, I would have lived, and if one of us hadn’t helped us with a kilo of flour, I swear to God we would have died of hunger. Oh brother, I beg you for God’s sake, then for you, and I want your help for God’s sake. I ask you by God, if you love goodness, and help me even with something, by messaging me on WhatsApp on this number 00967772168484, and ask for my card name, and send it and don’t delay, and God will compensate you with all good. My brothers, the young, see how they are and help us and save us before we are in the street or die of hunger. It’s the DevOps and Agile software development mantra that is stalling innovation. Basically in a nutshell is that all Tech Companies have adopted “Agile” methodology which prioritizes incremental improvements over big improvements. This is why tech software lately feels like they are still beta when released. It’s not just Apple, but the whole Tech Industry is using Agile. It’s all because overly high paid slick talking people who don’t do any of the work and knows absolutely nothing of the development process, but spew scrum and agile release train mumbo jumbo to investors and upper management like the best used car salesmen on the planet.

Bridget@ these are old news. Fast forward to today. These models are getting more mature and robust by the day. Having them around won’t erase your gadgets “from the real worl.” Who told you that? AI will help manufacturers build better, faster gadgets than the ones you have now.

Stop being pessimistic and just accept the fact that Apple is just behind and that was a stupid move on their part to stay out of it. Look now, they’re begging OpenAI / Good to power their phones. What if OpenAI ditches Apple then what? Apple is stranded so are you.

Apple better build their own AI system if they are gonna survive the future. The Chinese are getting better too. With all the money Apple makes don’t tell me they can’t open an AI division.

Not just Apple though, AI is half-baked and half-faked everywhere. If it even exists in the product at all, beyond just having “AI” on the sticker.

    March 16, 2025 at 12:38 am

I am not too concerned with Apple delaying the AI features. I do think that the response tends to be disproportionate, against Apple… It is always Apple vs Android (not the specific smart phone brands)
That being said, I think there are a few factors that work against new technology nowadays: cost, compatibility, and cycles (people upgrading yearly).

You know i keep thinking Bridget is very bias. AI situation on Apple is very different from other company’s AI situation but she is just trying to mud the waters and saying they are all at fault.

The problem with AI is all the background work that needs to be done. In order for AI to really work properly, we will need to bring the micro processors forward to the point where they can process actual language in real time. For all we know there is a company that is working on a successful AI product, but is putting the money and resources behind it For nefarious means. This is why I’m not a fan of AI. Just like the atomic bomb and dynamite, AI CAN be used for good…
