I wish they even made an app that connects the bike and helps us with navigation, calories burned etc
And also it will be better to unlock the bike using fingerprint at the handle and also to use machine learning to predict our motion with help of which it can turn on the indicator

At that price point….just get a small motorcycle, it costs the Same!! Except that with the motorcycle you can go fast enough to go into the freeway/highway, recharging or refueling takes 2 minutes at the gas pump….. Admit it… E-bikes are just expensive toys

    • missangela10

      October 13, 2021 at 12:28 pm

Motorcycles require registration and parking costs, and you get stuck in traffic. In large cities, for daily commuting, being able to use a bike path and then not having to pay for parking literally makes all the difference.

@missangela10 how exactly do you get stuck in traffic with a small motorcycle?? Ask for parking unless you live in the 7 big metropolitan areas, you can park for free on the street or bicycle areas, and benefits are even better, with a. Motorcycle you refuel in 3 minutes, you can go on the freeway since it can reach 45 mph, and is the same price as an electric bicycle

    • missangela10

      October 15, 2021 at 3:55 am

@Luis Mendoza Millions live in the 7 big metropolitan areas, myself included. It’s a whole other world that it sounds like you may not understand. Office buildings are concentrated in the middle of downtown, and most people who work downtown do not live there. Public transit is the most popular method of work commuting. Freeways are at a crawl for all drivers the entire commute, they’re luckily to go over 15mph at any point. It’s incredibly dangerous to go around the cars on a motorcycle in those areas. Bikes, however, have bike lanes on surface streets and separate bike paths away from vehicles. And free parking? HA! Does NOT exist here for anyone. Even through employers it’s incredibly expensive in large urban areas. Through my employer, who is incredibly generous, a 1 year parking pass alone is about the same cost as this bike.

    • Luis Mendoza

      October 15, 2021 at 1:38 pm

@missangela10 To each it’s own…. For most of us, the speed of refueling (vs. hours of recharging), superior speed, ability to ride everywhere (freeway/highway) etc. Are more important than parking….and in some cities, small motorcycles (vespa style) can use the bicycle lanes….

Well , I had it one day the fenders are of such low quality that it rattles like a piece of junk, they would have been better to leave them off. I considered taking them off but the lights are integrated to them . If it had came that way , I might have still bought it but then I felt like I was giving up something I had paid for . That was also a reminder that to pack so much into the package at a low price , the other components were probably the lowest quality as well. Now 1700.00 isn’t a high price for an ebike , but it is still an amount that you wouldn’t want to have lose in a couple of years . For the same price there are better choices IMO . I took it back and got the Valdo sl by specialized .

This is a good quality review, and for the most part the issues raised are valid. However, a few concerns are worth raising. First and foremost, he hasn’t set up the bike for optimum riding position. His legs should be much more extended at the bottom of stroke. This definitely contributes to the problems he’s having going up the hills, and it can also have an impact on pedal flex and even on shifting smoothness. That said, those pedals do look like they are worth an upgrade. Any “first” ebike that includes straps on the pedals creates a huge liability due too many intricate and new movements to manage all at once. Several reviewers have mentioned the fender rubbing issue out of the box, but apparently the issue is pretty easy to fully resolve with minor adjustments of the guides.

For those of you who say you’re not suppose to change gears while under pressure or going up hills: you’re wrong. First, you must always change gears when pedaling so you don’t put lateral stress on the derailleur. If you can minimize pressure and still pedal —- that would be best. Secondly, I agree that if you see a short hill ahead that will take less than a minute to crest, then by all means gear down in anticipation and push the hill. But on a long climb, the odds are that you’ll go through two to four gears before cresting, depending on severity. To start the hill at the lowest possible gear, will only mean that you’ll take much longer to crest the hill, and expend probably more effort in wasted pedaling at too low a speed.

I’ve been riding my 8000w E Bike from Sahara Bikes for a few months now. Absolutely wild how fast this goes. Planning to get the 5000w for son for his birthday this year. Highly recommend you guys check them out. This bike seems ok.

Really cool bike, These guys need to try out the bikes from Sahara Bikes. Their ET Bike is fully electric, with 4 speed manual transmission and clutch. Would love to see these guys test it out.

I’ve owned these bikes before, they were ok. But all i have been riding as of late is the Wild Coyote E Bike from Sahara Bikes, Y’all need to check them out if you want something superior.

Really want to see these guys review the Sahara Bikes Wild Coyote E bike, I;ve heard nothing but good things from the research i’ve been doing, but there still isn’t much on it.

Its worth mentioning that this bike’s parent company is Cannondale. I have and love this bike. It climbs hills no problem.
