I bought the previous 6 series (55″) to hang in our kitchen, super nice, ridiculously bright, it’s actually overkill for a kitchen.

Always a fan of a David review video. I’ve been a fan of yours since I bought my Panasonic G10 plasma over 10 years ago. It’s still going strong!

Hinense U8H , is Google TV and have a glorious reviews all over the net and YouTube, and also videos compare these two together and U8H came out as a winner, but if you can find one somewhere ,sells and sold like a hot cakes, I’m trying to get 75-in U8H for over a month now I can’t find one, thats tell you something, this is Roku TV, it’s a limitation for the setting and color accuracy B.S

Great Video Review! Is this the best 85″ TV under $2k!? I was also looking at Vizio P Series Quantum X at Costco currently 2499 but could drop for BF. How does this compare and is there any other TVs you would recommend?

My TCL series 6 does not have that center stand. It has the V legs on each end. We now have 2 of these & they are great!

I recently bought a new TCL4 65″ on Amazon for $399 – too good a deal to pass up and I’m thrilled with it. If if doesn’t last I’m not out much money, so it’s worth taking a chance.

    • Kowan011

I’m asking the same question. Even in the video’s thumbnail the PS5 is upside down!

      October 27, 2022 at 1:59 pm

Hey David, usually I agree with you on this price level. But the u8h is the better buy with more features

    • David Katzmaier

      October 27, 2022 at 2:33 pm

It’s a mistake. We didn’t realize it was upside down during filming or photography.

    • David Katzmaier

      October 27, 2022 at 2:34 pm

@Simon czesak I really liked the U8H as well, and said so here and in the written review. It’s a great TV too.

    • webberfan1234

      October 28, 2022 at 3:26 pm

Did you ever have to turn your ps1 upside down for it to work? I think it was a thing on early models.

  20. God Of Thunder

    October 26, 2022 at 11:04 pm

Man if u dont turn that PS5 over and put it on the stand. And move it out of that cubbybor you’ll just recycle heat when play more demanding games. Games like Ratchet, HFW Returnal, Demon’s Souls get that exhaust heat a lil toasty. U might wanna consider moving it or taking the back panel off of the cubby

  21. Nice Great

Nahhhhh , the BEST 2022 INBUDGET TV is Hisense U8H QLED Series Quantum 4K ULED, BUT if you can find one in the stock for ages ANYWHERE ,got glorious reviews everywhere … Is awesome Google TV, the picture and blks is stunning for the price hands down🙏👍🤙TCL IS THE SECOND,they went back to that stupid Roku limitation for the setup in colors an accuracy, and also you get that hue of red or blue with TCL TVS don’t matter what you do to the TV, the last year model with Google tv was the best INBUDGET TV, not this year!

Last night I had a nightmare that my 65VT30 died, so if it does, I’m gonna go for the TCL.
I bought one years ago, and when I was researching found out that Samsung was making their displays.
Not sure if that still the case, but this looks like a winner.
    Thanks for the info.

I worry about longevity of the OS. My brother’s family has a 5 series from only a few years ago, and the Roku OS is definitely slowing down. It feels glacial compared to my Nvidia Shield.

I have a TCL 65″ 4 SERIES for about 4 and half yrs. And the back light went out. And with the 2 yr warranty over should I get it fixed or just buy another TV. Because I see that TCL TVs do that alot.
