I’m honestly sad they dint reveal a new note series

      August 11, 2021 at 5:24 pm

Are they still coming out a new Note after the FE? I had heard that it might be the last in the note series. I’m using an S21 Ultra with a Spigen case that has an S-pen holder and it’s been a great alternative to the Note.

I dont think note will be exist due to lack of chip shortages

Note may never come back 😞. Other devices have pen support now, feel like they transitioning away from Note. Soon the fold will have a silo to hold a s-pen.

There’s rumors Samsung is done with the Note series. I hope not because I love the Note phones

Reminder: Both phones don’t include the charging brick inside of the box, unfortunately.

Reminder: You can request one from Samsung support for FREE. Reminder: Apple doesn’t offer that.

The Samsung Foldables look great, but I am still not sold on them. How about you guys?

    • Andy Kantorovich

      August 11, 2021 at 3:59 pm

Same. Compare to the fold 2, the significance changes is the under screen camera. And that’s about it.

    • Tommy

      August 11, 2021 at 4:13 pm

@Andy Kantorovich Also water resistance and durable aluminum… and Spen Support, oh and the front screen is now 120 hz not just the inner…

    • StefanUrkel

      August 11, 2021 at 5:23 pm

It’s very promising and innovative, with lots of potential. 1st production phone with under display camera as well! But I’m quite content right now with my S21 Ultra w/ Spigen case w/ S-Pen. I don’t mind the hole punch for front camera at top of display, it’s fairly inobtrusive. Battery life is excellent, 120hz display amazing (hard to go back to 60hz)! I think at this time the front and rear cameras on the S21 Ultra may be superior, and battery life is likely to be as well. I’ll be keeping an eye on what Samsung does with the Fold series in the future.

The base price is cheaper too. I’m definitely picking one up on release. Two actually lol

      August 12, 2021 at 3:23 am

Except for the bulky size compared to standard phones, the experience of using foldable phone will blow your mind away. Try it and comment. Too bad, it’s still pricey.

    • Wake no.

      August 12, 2021 at 9:42 am

I am for fold 3 , but I don’t have the money. I may wait a bit to have the price drop.

  9. Andy Kantorovich

    August 11, 2021 at 3:57 pm

Quite boring this year. The under screen camera on the fold 3 is cool but that’s about it in my opinion. I think they slowly running out of ideas for new innovations.

    • StefanUrkel

      August 11, 2021 at 5:28 pm

I’m sure they will continue to come up with new ideas as new tech comes out. One thing that stood out is their unpacked presentation this morning is the best I’ve seen yet. They’ve clearly been learning (and copying) how Apple does presentations and transitions.

    • socksamazingchannel

      August 11, 2021 at 8:13 pm

Wow lol, they did so much refinement. Our society is so obsessed with some completely new all the time.

Im currently on Samsung website trying to pre-order the new Watch4. Whats the difference between the wifi only and wifi+4G type? Help…

Edit : I finally ordered it and got a free $50 credit. 😊😊😊

    • StefanUrkel

      August 11, 2021 at 5:26 pm

the 4G LTE one is for those who may be away from their phone but still want access to the Internet on their watch, to make/receive calls, texts, and do other things. It requires an additional fee from your service provider, like $5-$10/mo with T-Mobile, depending on how much data you want to use. Whether it’s worth it to you depends on your lifestyle and needs. The LTE-enabled watches also cost nearly $50 more.

    • Clive

      August 12, 2021 at 12:37 am

Yes ,and that is very disappointing comung from one of the biggest watch maker.

  13. disciprine

    August 11, 2021 at 5:53 pm

So uh… SD card slot? Also I wouldn’t trust Samsung for water resistance. My active watch 2 died in the pool after a year.

    • Wake no.

      August 12, 2021 at 9:46 am

Depends how deep you had the watch.
Also ip rating is not part of Samsung company, is a separate one that rates all the phones and devices that exist.

    • disciprine

      August 12, 2021 at 3:44 pm

@Wake no. Literally like 1ft of water for 20 mins. Pretty shoddy for a device that claims swim tracking

  14. Universal Malang

    August 11, 2021 at 6:14 pm

These are both stupid nothing new and innovative one folds wow and the other is two phones stuck together wow so new what idiocracy Samsung has dropped the ball on this ill consider this when the two phones stuck together are the size of one regular phone.

    • Universal Malang

      August 11, 2021 at 9:55 pm

@socksamazingchannel I understand what you are saying but don’t agree it’s literally an I pad mini folded in half.

    • socksamazingchannel

      August 12, 2021 at 12:26 am

@Universal Malang that’s the point lol. You have the ability to travel/work with one device. You don’t need to bring an ipad or even a laptop.

    • Universal Malang

      August 12, 2021 at 12:29 am

@socksamazingchannel lol are you serious or just trolling

    • socksamazingchannel

      August 12, 2021 at 12:36 am

@Universal Malang I’m going to go out on a limb here and say you’re the one trolling.. I guess it doesn’t fit your lifestyle or budget.

Whatever won’t feed the troll anymore. Enjoy your life buddy 🙂

    • Universal Malang

@socksamazingchannel yeah sorry I’m so poor and live in the woods lol

  15. Gary Conrad

    August 11, 2021 at 6:55 pm

If a Z Fold 3 falls in the forest and no one picks it up does it make a sound? Apple and Google must think this infomercial was an absolute gift. What a pathetic display of products.

    • The Shooter's Bay-Guns&talk

Not really if you factor in Samsungs generous trade deals its very affordable.

  20. Vegapunk23

    August 11, 2021 at 11:18 pm

The more durable screen seems like the only considerable upgrade from the fold 2.. Just makes them seem bad for having such impressionable displays in the first place..

  21. Know Thyself

I’m waiting for the watch only

I like the Z Flip more I think, but I wish they’d stop marketing the Z Flip to women. The Fold seemed to used to be marketed towards males, and Flip to women.

    • Margot Robinson

      August 12, 2021 at 6:12 am

Especially strange considering that women usually have handbags and men don’t.

    • EyhTwo Zed

      August 12, 2021 at 9:02 am

Dont fall for marketing gimmicks. Tech has no gender assign

    • awkc 63

      August 12, 2021 at 1:26 pm

@EyhTwo Zed Well yeah, I’m saying it’s just annoying how they market it that way.

    Flip looks great

Amazing, now the screen won’t break after a week, but after 13 days

  26. Graham Evans

    August 12, 2021 at 1:04 pm

As an Apple user, i’m impressed. Particularly with their ambitous quest for the best folding phones. Also how they listen to their customers needs. Well done ✌🏻🇦🇺
