I think you nailed it on Google Lens, but for a while, google had “what is on my screen” so you didn’t have to take a picture just long press the home button and it would search everything on whatever was on your screen, that was my favorite iteration.

Slapped the word AI on it and put out a slightly different version than last year. Ladies and Gents, I give you modern day innovation.

Same and boring nothing new about the design

  18. @tjentertainmentstudio

    January 17, 2024 at 3:01 pm

This is so stupid. All of this is server based and the phone doesn’t actually do anything innovative that can’t be just patched in the current apps. All these features like ‘circle to search’s already exist in one way or another and isn’t new. 100% gimmick phone. I’m writing this from a Fold 5 and owned the 23 Ultra previously.

they are just normal ‘smart’ improvements you see every year for the last 10 years. samsung is using “AI” buzzword too much in their marketing. If samsung has a microsoft word clippy, they will call it AI

Samsung ultra is a good phone. However I’m glad that I finally came back home to apple a couple of years ago. Watching this review is cool but it also shows me that I’m not missing anything and that I made the right decision about switching back to apple.
