It doesn’t, the build is roughly the same, the performance and battery will be about the same as the Fold 3

iPhone 13 pro max is close to $1500 , and people say it’s cheap while this fold 4 is $1700 people say it’s expensive 😂

Bad consumerism causes these phones to be expensive. How much do you think Samsung payed to make this phone? I bet the profit margin is gargantuan.

    August 10, 2022 at 8:51 pm

    I still prefer my s22 ultra & s20 ultra

I just don’t see foldable phones as appealing. Super expensive, not nearly as durable and crease down the middle. Is it me ??? I just don’t get it. No interest at all

anyone know if they have pre installed screen protectors on front and inside i know on my zfold 3 the protector started getting cracks in fold hope I stoll get same trade value and not less

These phones are gimmicky garbage that only exists because Samsung ran out of good ideas and their normal phones are peaking

In order to save the economy, everyone must go out and buy a $1500 folding phone and sign up for 10 streaming services. Get a $6 coffee every morning in your new ev, throw away all your perfectly good hd tv’s and buy bigger 8k tv’s… that’s really what these companies are banking on

  22. TheVideoGameManiac Vault

    August 11, 2022 at 12:17 am

Sounds like if you already have the Z Fold 3, better to keep it for another year or two.

    • Black

      August 11, 2022 at 1:16 am

Yeah, unless the CPU being more efficient can give me another 1 hour of battery, my Fold3 is still my GOAT

I just got my iPhone 13 Pro Max so I’m not in the market for a new phone; at least not for a few years. I’m wondering if by then Apple will have a foldable smartphone.

Wouldn’t last me till lunchtime on the worksite. I realize these are for people who have the time to cradle them but damn, the price😱😳!

      August 11, 2022 at 2:45 pm

I work at UPS and my fold 3 has held up perfectly, and can’t exactly “cradle” it working for UPS… 🤷

For once, the software is actually really useful

  31. Martin Ojeda

    August 11, 2022 at 11:12 am

Just pre ordered upgrading from fold 3 just for the slightly bigger front screen. Samsung offered trade in credits plus reserve credit a free s pen and case. I’m paying only 800 for the upgrade. Last year after doing the same thing I payed around the same for the fold 3. I learned it’s cheaper and better buying from Samsung than going thru a phone carrier.

    • rene lopez

      August 11, 2022 at 3:45 pm

5 will be better, what’s the rush, you’ll have battery and maybe the pen and the big screen, I’m going to wait fold 5 think well

  32. AF B

    August 11, 2022 at 11:54 am

I still am bitter at Samsung for discontinuing the Note series.

Honestly I don’t think it would have survived any more years peoples tastes change they want something new and fresh not the same old style kmow what I mean?

  33. Will

    August 11, 2022 at 12:32 pm

“I haven’t gotten my hands on the Fold 4 just yet…” but you’re going to compare them anyway? These videos are useless. Anyone can look at a specs sheet.

  34. Buddy j gollan

    August 11, 2022 at 12:53 pm

Definitely consider getting a z fold 4 as I love the updated features like the camera sure its not perfect like the s22 ultra but it’s still a great camera system and I like the fact that samsung updated the multitasking features like the dock so it’s great

I suggest wait for fold 5.🙄

  38. FCF

    August 11, 2022 at 7:50 pm

So what is special about the Z4 beside the new hardware? I hope Samsung will port the OS changes to the Z3, because people dropped a pretty penny on it (1800 plus taxes and a couple of kidney), and having changes locked to the new phone only would be quite a big slap in the face.

  39. FCF

    August 11, 2022 at 7:55 pm

Also how the heck do you drain your phone in 3-4h? 😀 Are you playing games all the time? My Fold 3 does last a couple of days of moderate use (email, phone calls because is is a phone; and internet/youtube); and even if Keep it on constantly, it gets me to the end of the day no problem. I guess you need to make a different battery test between actual usage (pick it up, use it, put it down) and continuous usage, which is probably realistic only if you give your phone to your bored kid
